Omg I’ve never played dungeons and dragons but these are darling! I think I will have to pick up a pack. I’m so happy they are using the retro molds again, I loved the original set of them!I think my favorites from the set are the white and green one and the one with the....lute? Or mandolin? Whatever instrument they are carrying lol! I’m also DIGGING the more natural colors.
I really like the box art, too. It's not an exact match for any prior generation (not that I'm complaining, just observing). Just very cute and "horsey". I hope all the "crossover" sets use the same artist / style.I like how the mage pony is "interacting" with the real life 20-sided die by using her magic wand to make it float with blue crackling magic. Just really nice packaging design all around.
I showed this to one of my dnd buddies, and she is gushing over it. She’s not a huge pony fan, but she says these are wonderful! Also, on the wizard/sorcerer she and I found 2 magical items: a ring of evasion and a ponified bag of holding.
Ohhhh they're so beautiful!!What's the little critter in the pouch on white/green pony's cloak? Is it a D&D creature? I really know very little about D&D, haha. It's cute, whatever it is.
These are pretty cute, but I don't think I'm terribly interested since I don't play DnD.Lack of eye sculpting strikes again, their eyes look too far down.
