MLP not at Walmart?

So over the weekend my husband went to Walmart in SC. Whenever he is at Walmart he always checks the mlp toy section to see if there's anything new that I'd want. He's so sweet. Well when he was there he noticed the entire Mlp toy section was on 20-50% clearance. He checked a Walmart the next town over in GA the next day and he said the Mlp section was missing completely. No sign of it what so ever. 

Has anyone else notice a decrease in stock/ massive clearance at their local Walmarts? I'm curious if this is just some weird thing going on here or if Walmart is dropping Mlp merch.

It's possible that they are clearing out stock for new stock, but I have noticed a lack of pony in Walmart

As of last weekend, mine still looked the same as usual (as in, messy, no sales, and all pinkies and twis).

No clearance at the one nearest me either. But the section is very small. A few Pinkie Pie related toys, some EqG minis, and a buttload of those cheaper brushables that come in plastic bags instead of the usual packing. So I never even bother to look there for MLP anymore.

The MLP section at all of the Walmarts in my area is very small. It's not even half on an aisle anymore. There are EQ minis, Cutie Mark Magic brushables maybe one or two headband brushables Guardians of Harmony Celestia, some blind bags and a few of those baggie brushables.

I've noticed the pony sections at both the Target and Walmart near me have been slowly getting smaller.

The toy section at Walmart has been getting smaller and smaller. Barbie doesn't even get a whole aisle anymore. They just keep cramming it into smaller area using those infernal baskets instead of hangers.

My Walmart just has blind bags and the ones in the clear bags in small baskets and the gohj  one celestia and that's it. Num noms and Shopkins have taken over where the pony's were. The eah and my dolls  have also shrank and been cleared out.

My local Walmarts have been shrinking their toy aisles and also removing pegs in favor of baskets.  I haven't noticed any sales but they might just be getting ready for new stock.  Target just did this by me.

My walmart has gotten rearranged pretty heavily and the toy aisle has only a few bins of brushables etc left now and that's it, none of the new stuff that I could see and I do check for ponies everywhere I go.

Oh I did find some rare toddler underwear with ponies on them and I grabbed a pack for plushes.  I never ever see anything pony for tiny tots other than sippy cups at, I think it was Target but I haven't figured out how to use a sippy cup for me or for plushes so I didn't get any.

This is what mine has always been like. Plus an FS Sunset Shimmer that feels like it's been there forever.

I really am hoping you guys are right about them restocking. I haven't seen any of the pearly type brushables go through any of the stores in the area so far. And I went to Target to look to see if the new playskool release of the playskool line had come out, only to find there was no section for playskool anymore, just fisher-price.

I hope it's just a rearranging issue, but I've noticed Walmarts by me having smaller and smaller sections for toys as well, and I also hate those baskets! lol. I need to check and see whether the ones here have sales going on...

My local Wal-Mart has had a small selection of ponies, too. My guess is that they're getting ready to put some new ponies in stock.

This happens once or twice a year...  they are resetting the planograms.

I noticed that over the course of the year before I stopped working there that they greatly minimized the MLP section of Toys until it was practically invisible.

I don't think this happens every year.
