After I finally bought mine online they appeared at Newbury Comics by me.  Then a few weeks later FINALLY at Hot Topic.   A year after initial release... I already purchased the three I was interested in and I am so glad they were commons!

Welp.  I am rarely on here so this is the first I am hearing about it but I am typically game to do anything like this.

Welcome.  I also enjoy restoring.  I rarely have time for it anymore though.  Two jobs keeps me busy!   I also have no sunny windows in my current apartment.  Sigh.

Definitely G1.  I have around 440 of them.  With G2, G3, and G4 I likely havevaround 500/525?   I don’t exactly count the other Gend but I am curious.

Welcome to the arena!

Thinking about closing mine also. I just had a crazy buyer that requested a refund and then left me terrible reviews. I have it on vacation mode for now.  To make maybe $25 every few months it seems not worth it.

Pony Corral / Re: MLP not at Walmart?

The MLP section at all of the Walmarts in my area is very small. It's not even half on an aisle anymore. There are EQ minis, Cutie Mark Magic brushables maybe one or two headband brushables Guardians of Harmony Celestia, some blind bags and a few of those baggie brushables.

Ponyfan

This is what mine has always been like. Plus an FS Sunset Shimmer that feels like it's been there forever.

I really am hoping you guys are right about them restocking. I haven't seen any of the pearly type brushables go through any of the stores in the area so far. And I went to Target to look to see if the new playskool release of the playskool line had come out, only to find there was no section for playskool anymore, just fisher-price.

I am not sure the pearlized ponies are available anywhere yet. The Targets and Walmarts by me just got the second wave of hairbow brushables with Pursy Pink. They could be behind but I think the pearlized will be out with later this year or early 2017. My guess anyway.

I don't know the restrictions (if any) on new sellers. I have been selling on and off since 2000.

For the shipping you can put in up 9 days shipping time (I think 9 days) but eBay will advise you to do three. However, if you are using PayPal you can deposit the money immediately. I think it takes 3-5 days. Once in your bank account you can then ship. I also think PayPal offers their own card like a banks debit card and that might be excellent to look into before you list anything.

My suggestion is to start by opening your seller account on eBay (not putting up listings yet) and look into the PayPal card.

When a seller cancels a transaction it lowers there seller rating on eBay as well. I know many sellers that do not like to cancel sales because of this. Did you use the request to cancel function on eBay?

I agree we need more info on the actual messages and the time frame.

My local Walmarts have been shrinking their toy aisles and also removing pegs in favor of baskets.  I haven't noticed any sales but they might just be getting ready for new stock.  Target just did this by me.

Anyone have any tips for getting in all those Pegasus wing crevices?  I use q-tips (regular and pointed) but they don't seem to really get in there.

I've found toothpicks helpful. I'll soak a cotton pad in acetone and cover the wings completely for a few minutes to try and get the acetone to sink into the glue, then use the toothpick to dig it out :)

Thank you. I will give that a try.

I typically deflock with acetone and non-acetone nail polish remover. The non-acetone is okay for symbols of you are careful.

Be careful with oxyclean baths. It does seem to help but it can bleach hair and give it an awful texture. It happened to my Shady.

I never thought of rubbing alcohol!  I may give that a try.

In a big tub. I was really proud of it, until I learned from another thread that you should NEVER lock the zip lock bags... Looks like I have some work to do now. :lookround:

Most doubles share a bag, so do ponies of the same set (babies anyway, these bags can only hold one or two adults, depending on the pose) and mothers and babies.

Try to put each one in their one flip top sandwich bag leaving it open. That way they can breath and their body color or hair color can't leach onto another pony.  It takes some time to set up at first but it's worth it.
