Pony Corral / Re: Concerned Pony had a baby :)

I ordered two sets of the egg ponies, so I'm anxious to see if I get the same ones you got, or different!  That last sitting pony looks more judgy judgy than concerned!  Like she just said something snarky about another pony across the room.

I had hoped that some of the locations near my house would be pokestops, but they aren't, and the only pokemon that have showed up for me have been pidgeys and rattatas.  I got spoiled at the fair!!!!!!

Yes and no? I took dance classes until I was 20, so if a social occasion ever called for tap dancing, I'm your girl, but put me in a club and I'd be like Elaine from Seinfeld. I even do choreography for local theatres, but didn't dance at my own high school prom!

I've done the play 7 times, been to countless showings of the movie, and done shadow cast, and I am not even remotely excited about this remake.  I will however, be hosting a Rocky Horror party to dress up, watch it and heckle.  Or be pleasantly surprised, you know, whatever!

I'm a stylist, we do charge more for non-natural colors because it's a double process and it takes more time than a "natural" color does. That being said, if you have a Sally's beauty near you, ask them for advice for on the scalp bleach, and you should be able to find the green you need in either the manic panic or ion brands.  Fashion colors are all semi-permanent for the most part, bleaching the hair makes them more permanent.

Pony Corral / Re: Anyone in or around Asheville, NC?
« on: April 20, 2016, 12:07:10 PM »
I'm in Johnson City and go to Asheville once or twice a month. I did manage to find some G1's in the flea market in  Asheville but that was last summer so hit and miss. Been having more luck with the antique malls and craigslist ads that pop up. Good to know the Pigeon Forge/Sevierville flea market might be a place to try out. The one out toward Bristol hasn't had any in a bit or I have bad pony luck out there. :P

There was one guy with craploads of dirty stained ponies that wanted between $12-30 for them and someone actually bought them a few weeks ago at the tri-cities flea market.  More power to them!
Was the Seller outside or in one of the buildings? I tend to find anything pony in the buildings at the top and bottom of the hill. $12-$30 a piece?? Were these G1's? I've only found 4 or so in the last year. Saw some G3's but their overpriced too. >_<

outside, they had a bunch of toys, and one large bin of ponies, all g1s.  Oh yeah, they had eBay'd everything in there and gone with the prices on mint ponies for their nasty ponies.  Same people have a booth indoors on the lower level with a dirty So Soft and a Sunspot for I think $5 each?
The sellers at the u-shaped building on the top are great though, Memory Lane and Playtime Remembered.  Great people.

There's a toy show there this Saturday at 9, I can't go, but if any of you do, good luck!

There's a huge flea market just off the highway in Sevierville TN, found some vendors there selling what I'm pretty sure were g3 ponies. That was about a year or two ago though.

I had a lot of luck at that flea market a few years ago, I bought about 15 g1's off one seller, but the last time I went all the toy booths were mostly wrestling and Marvel figures.  I'm really surprised there aren't more toy stores in Pigeon Forge/Sevierville considering how many kids go there.  They had a lot of G4 stuff at the candy store at the Island last time I was there though.
Knoxville has the Super Cider Squeezy con too, I haven't made it yet, but hoping to this year.

Not me, but last year coming back from pony fair I got into a conversation with the hotel clerk about one of her childhood ponies, and for the life of me I can't figure out who she was talking about.  She said it was a white pony with a rainbow symbol and a rainbow mane.  She almost has to be thinking of Raincurl, but I showed her a picture and she said that wasn't it, because "it had all the colors of the rainbow in it."
