Hey guys, my fiancé’s friend just gave me her childhood herd which is the sweetest thing ever to me, but I digress. She had quite a few sea ponies and I’m confused on one of them. I’m fairly sure this is due to fading and they’re the same pony, but the difference is very drastic so I wanna be sure. Sea ponies are one of the sets I’m not super familiar with and I’ve borked IDs before when it comes to them. Images in the spoiler. So am I correct? These are both the same pony? My original one is the severely faded one that I had found at a flea market and the striking purple and pink one is the one from my fiancé’s friend.

I think this will be a fun discussion topic, but we will see if y’all agree with me  I wanna hear what you think are areas that Hasbro really dropped the ball on. Missed opportunities or botched ideas. Just anything by you think could’ve been done better/differently! For me, not having Rapunzel as a Brush n Grow? That was a missed opportunity. Same with only having Christmas and Valentine’s Day ponies. Imagine what neat Halloween ponies we could’ve had! (This one prob just didn’t fit their aesthetic). And I also think there should’ve been more grey ponies like Snuzzle! Grey is such a nice and soft neutral colour for the rainbow hair and symbols to really stand out on! I know there’s at least one other thing I’ve thought of, but it slips my mind at the moment but I’ll post it if I remember lol.  So what do YOU think Hasbro could’ve done better?

So I’m redoing my want list and I’m trying to figure it if this was a legitimate thing or not. I’ve always heard that the two Megan’s were different with one of them having eyeshadow and the other doesn’t. I’m not talking about the chunky headed Megan that came with TAF Sundance btw; I’m referring to the original release and the so soft release.
Anyways I’ve tried comparing their photos online and they both seem to have eyeshadow. Is one just slightly darker IRL or something? Or is this a misconception/old incorrect info?
If someone here has both of the Megan dolls, could I trouble you to post some comparison pics please?

I’ve been p inactive on here for a hot minute and that’s bc I was moving! Me and fiancé bought our first house and of course I made sure it had what I always dreamed of... a dedicated MLP room! I’m only just beginning to unpack so don’t judge the mess pls  and I have a lot of painting and decor I wanna add, but I just wanted to brag I’m looking forward to dressing it up and displaying my collection the way I’ve always dreamed of! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hello pals, I’m moving to another state soon which means I’m spending a lot of my quarantine time packing. That includes my collection of +/- 300 loose ponies as well as playsets and accessories. I’ve been wrapping them in acid free white tissue and labeling them. I was wondering if anyone here has any pointers for me or cautionary tales.
I’ve been making sure that chartreuse hair isn’t touching their bodies. Are there any other colours that stain bodies that I should be aware of? They’re all going to be packed away into Tupperware rather than boxes. I’m just trying to take as many precautions as possible and would greatly welcome any advice!

Hello pals. I’m looking to finally get a grail of mine; a Soft Sleepy Newborn! My budget is about $200 and I’m open to any of the three although Hushabye is my favourite. Accessories aren’t needed, but they would be a nice bonus! While I’m normally not super picky, these girls are grails for me so I would like them in decent condition. No BIG scuffs to the cutie marks, no giant marks, no haircuts, and I’m aiming for one that still has a working eye mechanism. I’ve been waiting for this opportunity for many years, so please contact me thru a PM or a reply to this thread!

TBH I’m not even sure if this thingy is MLP related. Last year I bought a nearly complete Dream Castle from a fellow at a flea market. When I got it home, I had a couple of random pieces in the box that weren’t a part of the Dream Castle. This piece is driving me nuts. I can’t find anything similar. All of Paradise Estates floors has some sort of detailed tiles on them. This piece is completely blank. I’d really like to figure out what on earth it is and whether I should trash it or not, but I’m not sure it can be identified. The only marking on it reads “3316-2238” Anyways, here are the pics. Again, I doubt that this can be identified, but I’d be happy just knowing if it’s a piece to a MLP G1 playset or not. I’m

I’m in the market for a rather strange thing. I want Majesty’s horse shoes that came with her and Dream Castle.
HOWEVER, I already have one(don’t even ask me how this happened, it baffles me too) and would really rather purchase three. Or even one.
One, two, or three! Just not four!
I’d like to stick to sellers in the USA because I’m totally not into the lifestyle of paying international shipping.

So this little thingy actually showed up in an MLP lot I purchased. I assume it’s a Barbie thing bc the hole at the bottom of the stem looks like a good size for her thumb. I’m tempted to just trash it, but I wanna check and make sure it’s not an important or rare accessory or something before I chuck it.

So I was completely ignorant of this pony's existence until yesterday. I had absolutely no idea Peachy had been released with a FF version as well. I've read the My Little Wiki piece on her and I found one on eBay going for around $16. That is the extent of what I've been able to find on her. So is that an average price for her? And more importantly (to me anyways) was she an American release?? I'm just completely baffled that I've never heard of this girl until now. As far as I knew, Peachy had been released with the Pretty Parlor, and that was that! She isn't even listed in my collector's book (unless I've just overlooked her, which is also entirely possible) and I was curious about her. ANY info about her is welcome. Like, when was she discovered? Was she an American release? Has she been common knowledge (except for me, obviously lol)? Absolutely anything is welcome! I'm just so surprised and want to know all about this!

I’m very pleased right now. To me, there’s nothing more satisfying than marking a pony off my want list... except maybe marking a whole SET of ponies off my want list.  Now fair warning, don’t get too excited for pics because I know these two sets aren’t really popular with the community. But I’m gonna post them anyways just because I’m very happy! First up, the drink n wet babies. These guys were never really super high on my list, but they’ve grown on me. Rainfeather was pretty gross and sported a pretty trashy Mohawk when I got her years ago, so she’s a rehair, and as I’m prone to doing, I left her new hair extra long. Also, I actually completed this set a few months ago, but I don’t recall ever posting pics since it’s a pretty small set and wasn’t super important to me. Next, BBEs! Now these ARE one of my fave sets, despite how most folk feel about them. I love them to bits and I finally got my last one in the post today.  So yes. I am very thrilled at the moment. I’ve been redecorating my room and moving my collection about too. In doing so, I’ve noticed a rather ...strange? trait amongst my first tooth babies. Now, granted, I only own three so maybe I just have bad luck and got a couple of weirdos, but two of my three have rather unappealing hairlines. Behold! I cannot seem to find a PC in the archives for this, so any help would be appreciated. I'm looking to see how much (if anything) the G2 video game Friendship Gardens is worth. I have the CD-ROM for PC and the booklet that came with it.It says for Windows 95/98, but it seems to play fine on my current computer too.
Anyhow, just curious if it's even worth selling.

It’s the most satisfying thing in the world, for me, to see haggard baity ponies given the love they deserve and all dolled up! I wanna see before and afters! Here’s one I finished today, to get us started Before: After: She had a good bath, a full rehair (which I left extra long because why the heck not?), and now wears a sculpted polymer clay replacement earring. Now it’s your turns! Show me your restored beauties before and after pics!
