I no longer have the original Ivy I had when I was a child, but I did buy her from another member here.
As a child, Ivy was the best Easter present I ever received. <3

I had six first ponies- Sparkleworks, Starswirl, Meadow Brooke, Cotton Candy, Kimono and Snowflake. It was what, 2003, and I saw a commercial for G3 ponies and thought it was the most amazing thing ever and asked EVERYONE who wanted to get me a gift for a pony. So I ended up with six. My uncle, who is into everything Japanese, got me Kimono. Snowflake was in my stocking from "Santa", and the other four were just a gift in the Cotton Candy Cafe set. I played the hell outta that thing as a kid. xDD 11 years later I'm still a collector and have 150+, including those first five. Got rid of all my houses and accessories, but I still have aaall my ponies.
My ponies are all in a box right now but maybe I'll dig em out in a bit. I took a break from ponies for a while but I did some thinking and decided I'd put them back up on the shelves. They go up and down so much it's crazy.

Here's a pic of my first! Almost none of the other ponies from my childhood collection have cut hair, but I suppose I was just a little too young to know better (or care) at this point. I would have been about 4 years old. I have no memory of getting her, but she's the only one of the original 6 that I got until they were released later as mail orders, so she's got to be my first, heh. My first actual memory of getting a pony is very fuzzy, but it was at my Grandparents' house at Christmas. I think it was Medely, but it might have been Moondancer (or both).

I don't remember the first pony I ever got (ie as a child) but Speedy was the first pony I purchased when I started collecting (which was just very recently)

I got her when I was 6 and I remember I was choosing between her and one of the Dance n Prance ponies but my mom kinda influenced me and I got Sunblossom - I do not regret it!

My first pony was Bow Tie and I still remember the day I got her, May 26th 1984.

Grandad had suffered a heart attack and we were going to visit him in hospital.  I was worried about him and Gran bought her to help cheer me up.

My very first and only one My Little Pony was Tickle  I remembered I got her as a christmas present when I was 6 or 7 years old. All my other ponies were Remco 
When I started to collect MLP I started with Tickle as it was a dream for me to find one again

I've found this photo of me with my first two ponies Bow Tie and Butterscotch.   

This was taken at Great Granny's house in the autumn of 1984 which helps to explain the 'tasteful' velour tracksuit (runs and hides!)

no pics of me and my lovely Tickle, which was my first and my only one MLP I received during my childhood . I got her for christmas when I was 6 or 7 years old. (my others were Remco) I remember exactly how I got her, how I open the package and how I used to play with her
