I think you're spot on! Okay, we can drop body addition. I was thinking of having multiple color options for the body and hair, like 2-3 each. So if we got zebra stripes they could be one color while the rest of the body is another color. Maybe we should also have more freedom with the colors? Like, it's blue, but you can do  navy blue or a periwinkle or even a Caribbean color. That way no one is stuck with like bright red and only that.

We can move color up front.

The new order of the polls looks good to me! This is shaping up to be a really fun idea, I’m super excited for this! Having multiple color options for the body is definitely a good idea!

I love the idea of fakie bases being included! Fakies are so fun!

I love these kind of group art challenges! I've seen them done on IG, and I've joined a few times! Their versions were very basic, which allowed for a more broad interpretation - one was 'Mermay To June' and so everyone had to do a mermaid theme. We had some standard fish-tail mermaids (which were fun on LPS bases, we had some kitty mermaids as I recall!), a shrimp-pony, a Monster High Lagoona as LPS, and mine was a decoden mermaid cupcake pony! We also did 'cake', and everyone made a custom toy based on a specific cake photo they chose!

I do worry if you get too specific with the voting it may deter people from entering - for myself, anyway. I want to make a pony I'd be happy to make/keep! So vagueness of 'requirements' is something I appreciate, creatively! But I can also see the fun of being more specific, and seeing how people interpret the guidelines!

Okay! So, there's enough interest in this to go forward If you have any ideas for any of the poll options, please post them! I'll start setting up the thread and will post the first three polls Wednesday the 1st. Should they be posted in Customs or in the Corral? I feel this board is more appropriate but we will get more votes in the Corral. Thoughts?

I was going to add fabric but not everyone might have some. Metal I'm not sure about, since if anyone is going to do sculpting, wire and aluminum would be used anyway. Would that count? I'm thinking no.

The poll options look great to me BC! The only crafting material I don’t really have on hand is metal….I do have a bunch of metal candle lids that I could maybe use as like a base for the custom? But that may be stretching it idk
