I have an extra Cheery! I will just need to dig him out tomorrow for some photos to see if you would be interested.

I used to find lots at garage sales like 15/20 years ago now it's basically nothing. It does depend on the area and who lived in the house/still lives there.

I use to find a ton at thrift stores again 15/2o years ago. I still find some, but not as much. Lately more so because of competition of non-collectors and covid really messed up the inventory with lower hours, weird stock levels, weird stocking time sand very picky inventory.

There aren't really fleamarkets here. I used to find some on and off but thrift stores top it all.

Pony Corral / Re: PC: Promo (?) Aladdin Lunchbox Sticker

It is a sticker for the lunch kit! I happen to own the Rainbow Curl Pony lunch box artwork. It came with the original artwork, thermos art with the thermal print and the sticker for the lunch kit I guess as the final proof. I wonder if your sticker came from a set too or if they printed large stickers and sold them? I could post a picture sometime, I just need to remember haha.

If anyone ever has a Kickstarter for a documentary on MLP I'll be more than happy to fork over money!

I too enjoyed the episode and also wished they had more about the ideas and designs more. I guess that would be more of a documentary than anything, that I'd love to see. I'd throw money at that! I also hope there is more info on the extended version I hope to see one day.

On G2 was a bit sad at the quick throwaway bit and G3 didn't last long. Super happy the brony bit didn't go on. I wanted to hear about Escape from Catrina and what the heck that original cover art was about. Also, Rescue at Midnight Castle is amazing.

The bit with Lauren's letter was really sweet. She posted the whole thing on her twitter account.

Really happy to see Summer in there too. I'm sad I didn't get know about submitting my photo of my collection D:

All in all, it was quite enjoyable :)

Anyone still keeping track of the total? I'm curious what ones he has left now too. I know the playsets are still there.

If you don't know already, there is the Netflix series The Toys That Made Us. They have a small amount of episodes dedicated to the history of a certain toy (Barbie, Star Wars and so on) They will soon be covering MLP. They have released the episodes to Netflix, so the date should be anytime soon.

I'm looking forward to this episode, but I do wonder if it will further increase the prices. Recently I saw they posted about Rapunzel, so that also has me a bit worried.

Or do you think it will be good for the community, like drawing in more fans and more discussion.

I'm interested in all the behind the scenes sort of information they have gathered like who was in charge of what and where the ideas came from and all that jazz.

What are your thoughts?

I have way too many good stories since I've found almost all my collection at thrift stores over 20 years. I've found 57 ponies this past October,  another year found 30 ponies 6 were the MO sparkle set. I got a near complete paradise estate from an auction. I got satin lace and tux N tails, 5 of the pearly babies, adult seapony, baby sweet cake few months ago.

Worst was when I decided to go to another thrift store before my usual place and when I got there a re-seller had got to them first. The other bad was finding mimic with a chewed horn and foot. Also the time I saw a squished spider in a bag :(

OMG I had the same issue I bought another puzzle to combine it and found they were cut differently too. BOO
I can only think if we can Photoshop the image and cut pieces of similar thick board.

I've never seen anything like this O_O Is someone keeping track of what ones are were there? Or is this actually the whole set?
I might want to bid, but I live in Canada and the shipping is crazy. I would want to email about that, but I might get banned?

I think they all have great designs!  Also Twilight is now up for preorder now on ami ami and probably other figure sites.

Haha, that's fun! I wonder if the contestant got the answer right? :P

Oh, I happened to be watching! He did and he gave a sort of pained look that seemed forced, lol.

My friend had this as a kid for her birthday. A few years later I downloaded the emulator version :)  I was convinced it was MLP for a long time LOL

I'm also a figure collector so I'm excited to see these. I used to make anime humans of the ponies 15 years ago lol. Kotobukiya is a good company that does great quality. This is actually priced on the lower end of a good quality scale figure. Some sites sell for cheaper too and sometimes figures go on sale. Or you can even look at getting this second hand in the future, the gamble is sometimes they go up in price.

On bootlegs, they are a horrible creation that look cheap and disgusting. The quality on them is pretty gross and any collector wouldn't want that.  It;s a true waste of money unless you want to customize them or something.

Pony Corral / Re: New MLP collector site. Would you use?

One site I use for my anime figures is http://myfigurecollection.net/ if something like that could ever work for ponies and even 80s collectibles, I think it would be pretty awesome
