Ooh now, this is a good question. The Italy green is unique, it was also used on Italy Seashell and Gusty as well as the green stripe in the hair of the Rainbow Ponies. I personally haven't found a match with any of the green hair available from My Little Customs.

yes. I was afraid of that. SO what do I do as what ever I use won't be right. also is italan starshine's symbol gold or blue?

If it were my pony, I would probably give her rainbow hair :) the other option is to have a go at dying some nylon, as nylon hair takes dye very well :) OR pick a colour you personally love and think would suit her and give her that colour hair :)

Starshine's symbol was metallic gold when it was new :) The paint oxides over time, turning it blue/green.

thankyou for clarifying starshines symbol.

as for medly, I restore if I can and will never customise a variant so medly stays as she is so that perhaps in the future something can be done for her.

I have restored Italian green haired ponies successfully with dyed original pony hair.

I used any of my stock (I have Dylon Dye, iPoly, RitDye regular and RitDye More) and it was a 95% match I think.
