I had a black clydie mare that I sold to be bred with Gypsy Vanners. Theyre my fave breed of horse! However there are very few in Australia, and are very very expensive here. But if I win the lottery, thats the first thing id be looking at getting! Or a few!

They are beautiful horses, but I don't really have any experience with them. My family always raised Paints and Quarter horses, so I'm more accustomed to those and barrel racing.

No disrespect intended at ALL fiwen3. Here in the USA there are no connotations associated with that term at all and I apologize if you found the term offensive. I do know some other countries do use that term for this breed (And you can see it referred as such on some international toy sites which make model horses).

I have the deepest respect for the romany people, and I obviously love their horses. I hope I have not offended.

Oh no offence taken by me at all, Templeflower :) It's just as DaffyDilly said, they're known as simply traditional coloured horses over here, and some names are more sensitive than others.
