Perfume Puff ~ Summer Treat ~ (Pics)

Well, heres my first perfume puff...Summer Treat!


She was rehaired with yarn in variegated shades of bright pink, purple, orange, blue/teal, green and yellow. I then brushed out the yarn to make it puffy like the old perfume puff ponies (which if yall have ever done this you can appreciate, its no easy task!). Put matching thin satin bow in tail and mane. Hand painted symbol is a snow cone with rainbow drips, freckles to match, and eyes and eyelashes are completely repainted, and gave her drips, freckles and ice part of her symbol sparkle mod podge. Eyes and paper part of cone reg gloss mod podge. Her hair smells just like a coconut snow cone!!

aw thanks kiwi!! I am pleased with her! The hair is so yummy...looking at her makes me want to get a blue coconut snowcone! after I did her hair, my whole house smelled like coconut all day! YUMMY! ;)

Oh, her hair is so much fun! I might have to try rehairing one with yarn like that. It looks like it would be really fun to play with and touch!

The hair is absolutely gorgeous! I adore the pastel colours and the sparkling symbols. Makes me crave for ice cream and I just ate some. :lol:

Thank you all so much! :) I want to make another one with the other bright blue and pink variegated yarn I have and see how it turns out. Maybe make cotton candy themed or something, and of course she would have to smell like cotton candy! ;)
