hello fellow pony lovers!
For me it all started with Skydancer - a lovely pony (whom didn't fit into any costumes!).  Followed by Peachy, SS Gusty, Baby Gusty, flutter wing Morning Glory, Gingerbread, Steamer, and Daffodil.  And there were also my sisters' ponies, but this post is all about ME!
A very long cooling off period of 20 something years, and my love of my little ponies is back! June this year, while trying to avoid the housework, I logged onto ebay...and haven't stopped bidding since.  First, I was just going to complete the G1 rainbow collection (Skydancer needed some friends), but then I decided Gingerbread was lonely too, and twinkle eye ponies started trotting into my life. I always wanted the year 2 unicorn ponies...in they galloped.  More recently its been bait ponies and learning how to restore.  Good times!  And now it looks like Steamer needs some bro-friends in his life (and mine! ).
I don't know how far this is going to go, but I must be getting in deep -  am starting to think its perfectly reasonable to spend $100 on Mimic?! That was crazy talk 4 months ago!
But I am having a lot of fun, and enjoying the challenge of finding the ponies I want and a seller who will ship to them New Zealand! 
And once this post is up, really looking forward to looking at the Brag Arena...could be dangerously inspiring
