Anyone else grab one yet?  Mine is out for delivery.  I like that Aurora has moved away from the cloth hair, if only because the hair on Luna was a train wreck. 

I think she looks grumpy though.

LOL Fair enough!  I have considered buying a second one to fix everything that's wrong with her but I'm not sure I'd know where to start!    I do like their face shapes though.

Have to agree with the comments on celestias face here hehe. Her normal eye shape doesn't always transfer well! I also like the switch to a more brushable hair than the fabric kind.

I didn't realize the Luna had so many issues (aside from the fact that it's S1 Luna..) I have one and I found her to be just fine?

Not to derail the thread, but what exactly was wrong with Luna plush?  I haven't heard anything about it.  I'm not too sure I like them doing the brushable hair honestly, on a plushie I find that it just gets tangled and frizzy, not to mention it isn't as easy to snuggle with!

Exactly.  Normally, I like brushable hair, but with plushes it's much better if it's fabric hair. The brushable hair pretty much makes it for display only, since it doesn't take much to get the hair in a tangled mess.

That said, I love the way the new brushable Aurora plushes look. I wonder if the hair is as nice in person. Because I definitely want Celestia.

I still think yarn hair is the best for plush. There is just something about it that feels right.

Luna has butt wings, a horn that looks like a marital aid, flimsy misshapen stick legs, and awful shapeless bag hair.

Celestia has nice hair, really.  They've altered the pattern to have better legs, and her wings aren't perched directly on her butt.  I don't play with or cuddle my plushies so it's more important to me they look great than be functional.
