Just thought I'd share! Birdy love

So I'm not a huge person on sharing over the internet personal things but I really want to share what's going on in my living room because I'm just to excited. I have birds, a few birds 6 in total. 1 budgie, parakeet, 1 sun conure, & 1 green cheek conure, & three yellowsided green cheek conures.

Daisy is my model she's front and center in all pictures I take. She loves the camera. Lily is right behind her, Kermit is the really green one and Duke is behind him. Well Lily has been giving me presents the last few days, two eggs! I'm so happy we've been waiting since December for them to lay. Kermit is a very good daddy, he stands guard 24/7 and helps keep Lily away when I check the nestbox., which is a huge help. Mommy birds can be a handful! Babies are expected the second week of June and I can't wait!

Thanks! I'm going to try and get some pictures of the eggs when I check the nestbox this time. Hopefully I'll have another surprise waiting for me. *crosses fingers*

Thanks so much! I'm very proud of my little girl right now. I was a bit worried since they skipped a breeding period that I wasn't doing something right but now I've got some proof that my unconventional breeder tactics work. Yay!!

Egg number 3 is here!!!! I got to take pictures of the eggs tonight. Lily was being very cooperative. Kermit had a talk with her the other day when I was checking for egg 2 and she's been completely different towards me since. Now she only glares at me instead of hissing and trying to attack me. Thank you Kermit! Plus I think I'm winning them over with treats. Kermit's been getting treats for days. Poor thing is bored I caught him dragging his foot toy across the cage today, reminded me of a prison inmate in an old movie with a tin can. I'll get more pictures up soon. Babies will be here at second week of June. Yay!!!!

That is great! Hubby and I love birds too! We have a green cheeked conure named Boo and a cockatiel named Eggbert, they both are so lovable and talk too. We want to add to our flock eventually.

Oh another birdy person yay! I find so few of them. You'rs talk to they love to scream for my husband when he comes home from work. Though they call him either by his name or daddy depends on what they want. Haha! Manipulative birdies.

I will have to take some pictures when we have them out tonight. We want to eventually hand feed a couple ourselves. When I was younger I worked in a pet store and hand fed several parrots and macaws.
