The curls are straw curls and the shininess is probably because Dollyhair is very shiny

Yeah their hair colour changes so brightly... But I think I still prefer my Sunshine set with original hair

Though I don't like the texture of polypropylene hair on ponies too much. It doesn't match with nylon hair texture at all, but after curling it looks better.

I wonder if Seaside Babies' and Watercolor Baby Seaponies' hair is polypropylene. The texture feels the same.

That would make sense Goldilocks - as to why it degrades in a different way from nylon.
