Welcome to the "Little Army Swap!" The last two Army Swaps had some truly amazing results and I wanted to keep the momentum going. But with the Holidays fast approaching (among other things) there really wasn't time to launch such a long, elaborate and (admittedly) expensive swap. Some creative thinking on the part of fellow Arena member meshed my own personal pet swap, the Little Swap, with the Army Swap and here it is, the Little Army Swap! (I have borrowed some of the rules from the original Army Swap and tweeked them a bit.)
The Little Army Swap Rules!
1. Please read the rules thoroughly before signing up! A swapper can not withdraw once the swap begins.
2. You must be at least 16 years old (per Arena rules.)
3. You must have at least 10 positive feedbacks here on the Arena from trades or selling (not buying.)
4. The box you ship in should be NO BIGGER than a medium flat rate shipping box. (11 x 8 1/2 x 5 1/2) That's the "Little" part of this swap! :P
5. Your package must contain ONLY ponies from your partner's want list. Ponies must have a combine minimum value of $25 (USD.) If your partner has a pose army try to avoid getting all the same pony. Customs ONLY count as extra unless okayed by your partner.
6. Your package should also contain a few extras and/or candy (or other treats) with a minimum value of $5 to $10 (UDS.)
7. You MUST be willing to ship internationally. Shipping IS NOT included in the $25 minimum for ponies or $5 minimum for extra. It is additional.
8. Please be sure to include a note so your partner will know who the box came from.
9. Since this is a Random Partners swap, please *Do Not!* PM your partner! It takes all the fun out of it.
10. You must check in regularly (preferable once a week) by posting on the thread.
References~
- References are only for trading and selling ponies.
- Ebay does not count but if you are short one reference it may help.
- References need to be from members of the pony community that can easily be checked
- You need at least 10 references.
- No first time swappers, you must have been in at least one swap before.
Shipping~
-Please do not ship before the deadline.
-You must ship your items in a box. No bubble mailers!
-You must ship by airmail if you're shipping overseas. (A tracking number is strongly suggested if available and reasonably priced.)
-Please keep your shipping receipt until your partner has received her/his box. (You may be asked to produce one if your partner's box is delayed.)
Dates~
-Sign ups until Wednesday July 18, 2012 or full
-Partners assigned by July 21, 2012
-Shipping time frame- beginning date October 20, 2012 deadline October 31, 2012
Pony Wishlists~
- Pose armies and set armies are allowed. But this means you could get doubles.
- No color armies, this is no color swap.
- Accessories armies are allowed, but you must also include at least one pony army as well.
- Your wishlist may not contain more than 3 different ponies/poses or two sets.
- You may combine sets, poses and single ponies but not more than 3 different armies.
- If you choose more than one pony you need to have an army of each of these ponies/poses already.
- Army means 3 ponies or more. This also includes variants.
- Choosing more than one pony/pose/set does not mean you will get some of every pony/pose/set. Your partner chooses the ponies you will get.
- If you have no pony army yet and want to start one with this swap you may only choose one pony/pose/set.
- Let me know if you only want the original pony and/or which variants.
- If your pony is a release in several generations please let me know which generation you want.
- No ponies that are over the swap amount, this means no Mimic armies for example.
- No super HTF ponies that only pop up like once in year.
- No MIB/MOC collectors
- Your wish lists are final. I can not take changes to them once they have been sent to your partners. Please keep this in mind.
Pony Condition~
-All ponies sent should be the best possible condition you can find. DO NOT send ponies that have flaws your partner find unacceptable.

An army could be 1. an army of the same pony (example- all Medley or all Pinkie Pie) 2. an army made up all the same pose (example- all collectors pose ponies) 3. an army of one set of ponies (example- many multiples of all the Sundae Best ponies. You can also have a "couple army" like Ringlet's army of Ringlets and Chief but always as a couple never singles. (@ Ringlets~Yes, of course that counts, silly!) Or you can chose to start an army. At the beginning of the last Army Swap, I only has one Atlas (my persona pony,) so I choose to start an army of Atlases.

Wishlist...SURPRISE! : D I have three baby Surprises and an adult Surprise... What I would love to have are: So Soft Surprise (I know, amazing, isn't it? That's the ONLY so soft I want), foreign variants that are different from the regular in some way, the shiny/pearlized baby Surprise, a MIB Surprise...or any customs that are a different pose from the original. Even other pony types are cool, like earth or unicorn/alicorn. I do prefer, when at all possible (especially with G4 customs) that the base be white to begin with. Different color symbols on customs is fine, same with eyes, but I DO want the hair to be the electric banana,, at least mostly. (This doesn't necessarily apply to foreign ones who originally have different hair) A G1 newborn Surprise would be FREAKING ADORABLE! A TAF one would be cool, too! Even a G2. Just NO G3.5s, please.

Then there was the 13 Days of Halloween Swap that I ran. I sent to Summer-Blade, and received from dollhands. C:
-Do you have any food or fragrance allergies? No, but I'm not a fan of fragrances, unless they're essential oils that I like: lavender, sage, rosemary, chamomile, mostly.

-Which pony flaws are acceptable/unacceptable to you? No cancer, please! Slight haircuts, no biggie. Would prefer no frizzy hair. Slight symbol or eye rubs are okay. Non-spreadable marks on bottoms of hoovs, no biggie. If they haappen to send a so-soft, please, as white as possible. Slight pen marks or the like, no biggie.

The very last swap I did was the ATC swap in the art forum and my partner was Randpony and I was her partner,. The swap before that was the postcard swap in the off topic forum an everyone posted from everyone. and I also did a swap earlier in the year the Aus NZ Easter swap, Dollhands and I were partners

with army ponies I am pretty much happy with anything I get, the only thing I ask is that they're nt missing any body parts and they have their eyes an symbols and please no texta or pen all over the body and no mould.
But cancer, buzz cuts rehairs etc I am fine with I am not fussy, in my opinion, it's the more the better. ^_^ Oh I'll even take regrind! :)

I have two Siberian Huskies named Mika and Scarlett.
I love anything to do with Pokemon, Sailor moon, Mario, Yoshi. I love anything Japanese and anything Kawaii is awesome. I am always happy to recieve stationary especially note books and pens. I LOVE ponies that have been rehaired, I also love rehairing ponies so I am very happy with any dollyhair I get. :)
I am going to update my wantlist in my sig to make it easy for my partner. ^_^ Pics of my armies tonight too
Oh I put in my pm that my thrid option was bubbles, but changed my mind to flutter ponies, any fluttler pony in any condition I'd love rehair etc are all very welcome.

Yeah, I get that too, because of my Dutch army. They're not really rare, but a bit more expensive than your average pony. :blush:

Yes, but only if the custom's base is either a winger or a Breezie please. I LOVE rehaired ponies, especially is the pony had terrible hair. But don't worry if you aren't a customizer, I can't paint for beans:)

Dollyhair, repro/OOAK wings and candy like Skittles are all wins in my book. I am a belly dancer, so anything jingly or shiny is cool.

1) Customs? Rehairs? Yay or Neigh? Yay to custom Chief and Ringlets if you do customs of both ( - this is a "couple " army ;) ) , and I'm ok with rehairs if they are in the original colors (this is important with my Chief and Ringlets army since they are in my fave colors already and I cannot think of a way to improve on 'em :heart: )
2) If you have a Pose Army or a type of pony army; is there 1 or 2 ponies in particular you want your partner to focus on? I have many armies but for this swap I just want my parnter to buy me Chief and Ringlets. It has to be both of them though since this is my "couple" army. I know I keep saying that , but its important *dodges fakies* :P
3) What are your favorite extras in swaps? hmm well.. I really love homemade/ custom stuff with Chief and Ringlets on together - thats my fave extra. It could be a picture/drawing, or ..whatever you're good at - feel free to be creative :) for example, Clones made me the most beautiful C+R quilt for the last army swap :lovey: :lovey: :lovey: I also love ponywear , pony legwarmers, and pony jewellery (it could be original or home made), stationary, colored pencils/art stuff, dollyhair, chocolates, Disney Tangled/Rapunzel stuff .. T-shirts are a bit of a problem for me - I'm not a small girl and I have a large chest, so I need mens T-shirts but then they are too big on the shoulders, so I tend to cut the shoulders across :) I can squeeze into a UK size 18-22 (ladies sizes, fitted) but they can come up a bit tight depending on the make.

He can be quite graceful when he wants to be :) He's a Jack Russell x border collie, there is some springer spaniel in the mix too though, I'm sure of it! He loves sitting on top of things, nothing is sacred :lmao:

Since I am looking for more wingers for my winger army, naturally I am expecting to get duplicates!! I would really like to expand my Windy Wing collection, but I'm not too worried about it.

Please no make up, nail polish etc and no candles and bath lotions etc. They just don't get used and I have way too much of it
8) I pretty much will take any pony for my army even regrind and cancer, the only things I don't like are mould because it's catchy , missing limbs and huge amounts of pen or texta everthing is okay pretty much, I'm not picky
9) Favourite colours: I love any shade of blue the most, but I love any colour of the rainbow and silver

That's part of the challenge! :hug: In part, it insures that no one goes *really, really, really* nuts... like most of us (raises hand) did in the last Army Swap. :blush: It also makes you think about what is really important in your box. ;)

The main thing I'm concerned about is.. well... sculpting. I don't think that gives too much away, seeing as I sculpt on every custom I make ever, pretty much. But yeah. Harder to play pony tetris with fragile things!

For the Dutchies (especially consider that they can be rather costly :yikes: ) I would be just as happy with baity ponies. I think their 'flaws' give them so much personality! :heart:
And since Atlas is a custom, I don't think this question applies. :blush:

I am one of those collectors who actually prefers ponies to be in damaged/flawed condition:) I have a complete set of mint wingers, and although I love them, I think I prefer ponies that need my love and care. For this swap, you can go quantity over quality I don't mind at all. To be perfectly honest, I am most looking to buy a very baity Moon Jumper to give a make-over.

As for the next question I'm very happy to recieve ponies with flaws. That includes cancer or regrind. :) I love ponies that need TLC the only thing I don't like is mould or tail rust. But yeah I'd prefer lots of ponies in need of TLC then mint.

I prefer quality.
But I'm okay with minor flaws like faded hair, writting marks under the hooves, eye scratches... as long as the ponies don't have age-spots, regrind or cancer.

I have one pony for my partner on the way, and did some brainstorming for a custom with my hair and baits last night.
Customs or rehairs? Either would be wonderful with me, but is not necessary if my partner isn't a customizer.
1 or 2 ponies in particular to focus on? Parasol or a shy-pose I don't have
Favorite extras? dark chocolate, special extras that reflect my partner's personality or talents
Other collections? minerals
Merch? I'm not a huge merchandise person; I wouldn't mind things I can use like pins, hairclips, mugs, memo pads, etc. Just not bobbleheads or the like :)
Worst thing in a box? G3.5s. Sorry, they're less attractive than many fakies to me.
Acceptable flaws: minor wear, scratches, marks, tail rust, rough hair; not acceptable: cancer and head/body mismatch (except for HTF ponies); I do like to restore ponies and I'm not paranoid about pindot, mold and cancer

G3 counterparts to your army? Mine is a G1 pose, and I already have G3 Pretty Parasol (closest thing to Parasol) MIB from a lovely partner in a previous swap, so there aren't really counterparts. I wouldn't mind a G3 custom of one of my army favorites, like Cascade or Parasol; I've just pared down my G3 collection to a few I really love and am selling off the rest.

I was fortunate to snag a Mexican pony for my partner, and she is far from perfect! Once she arrives, I plan on cleaning her up. But she will still have frizzy hair and other imperfections. I hope my partner can overlook her imperfections and see her for the rare beauty that she is. I've been so fortunate to have such awesome pony luck for my swaps:)

I got mine at Wal mart they should be in with the rest of the trading cards they run about $2 a pack and there are 8 cards in each pack with a small sheet of temp tattoos and one special card in each pack oh and they have cards with codes on them that you can enter on line to win five full sets of cards and cards singed by the voice actors.
They're neat little cards I have a few my self the artwork is really nice on them

Ok, I won the ebay auction I was bidding on and the ponies arrived today.

So I have a new question:
This particular pony is not the US version, has gorgeous hair, paintwork etc... but half an ear is missing on the non-display side ! (not described in the auction BTW I have contacted the seller, but I dont want to return the lot). Should I include this pony in the box anyways as perhaps an extra, or would you rather I dont send her? :what:

I'd still take that pony in my box Ringlets, I would include it as an extra with a note or hold it until after your partner gets thier box and then tell them in your letter with the box "hey I have this pony but she's missing an ear you still want her?"
If I got her I could always hide the missing ear with a hat or custom headwear

Partner if you have the same thing happen to you (ie, an ebay seller misses flaws on a pony you bought for me, its fine to send it along :) I also think it adds character :heart: ). A quick update on my situation too - my seller responded , apologised for missing the flaw and we agreed on a partial , so all fixed now (apart from Paypal holding the refund while they investigate why it was given! wut??!! :what: :blink: :throw: )

Oh I love sweets! Crunch crunch crunch (that's me eating my imaginary sweets). I have no qualms with home-made goodies, but I'd actually really prefer candy. I love chewy candies, they're my favorites.
I am also a huge coffee fan, I can't live without it :drunk: I love flavored coffees like mocha, coconut and French vanilla.

I love customs, so if my partner wanted to send more customs than real ones that would be fine. But it's totally up to my partner. I'm happy either way.
I'd take the pony Ringlets! Especially if it's a non-us version. I do prefer the normal run of my armies to be in pretty good condition, but any kind of variation, or oversees version I would love in any condition :)
Favorite snacks? candy is good - just not licorice! I love trail mixes, nuts, dried fruits. Homemade snacks are good too, but I guess it depends on how long the package could be in the mail ;)

You cant send fur or feathers, fruit, veg, anything that has come into contact with animals, fruit, veg, meat etc. Ive had a box sent to me that customs burnt, as it had raw meat in it at one stage, EW< but have also had a horse saddle blanket also burnt as it had come into contact with wheat? or had something like that in it? cant remember for sure. But Yes, in Australia, theyre pretty strict on things like that, so no real feathers, or fur,. And sweets choc and candies are all fine!!
No Tarrifs in australia for anything coming in, ive had $500 worth in a box and it was written on the box for customs, an there was no drama, often customs opens parcels sifts thru an then tapes it up with customs has opened this tape, and put inside a list of things that you cant bring into australia, stupidly ive thrown those out. maybe theres a website on it?, but if a parcel is held in customs to be destroyed, they do charge you for that!!

Hmm.. nope there isnt anything that my partner could possibly send thats restricted in the UK. The stuff thats restricted has no business being in a pony swapbox! :lol:
The UK does charge some pretty hefty customs fees for importing stuff from anywhere outside of Europe :yikes: . If my partner is from the UK or Europe there isnt any issue. If my partner is from the US , Australia, NZ etc, then these apply:
*If declaring as a "gift" on the customs form the Value limit is £40 (thats about $63 USD, $60AUD) . If the value is less than that its ok and I wont get charged.
*If not declaring as a gift (so any of the other catagories on the customs form apply), then the value limit before I get taxed is £18 (thats around $28 or $29USD / $27AUD)

I had another pony arrive, this time in lovely condition! I also had an amazing idea for a "crossover" custom that would fit both of my partner's armies.
I'm not sure what US customs prohibits, but I imagine fresh fruits, meats, plants, and seeds that might carry undesirable biological hitchhikers are likely no-nos. Generally toys and candy should be fine! I think given the price minimum for this swap that fees shouldn't be an issue.
I do like bracelets (and earrings, and necklaces), although I'm a little conservative in my tastes so nothing clunky or too blingy.
I always welcome custom supplies, and I like artwork and crafts as well.
I think there was a question about a pony missing an ear? I think for an army pony that would be okay, especially if she were harder to find. I've always wanted to try my hand at plastic restoration.
I also have a question: What would make a swap box really personal for you? I like it when my partners include extras that show they notice my interests, and also when they use their talents to make me something special.

What would make the swap box really personal for you? - Anytime someone puts time and effort in a swap box just for me is the best. All the little hand made items or special gifts i've received in swaps always make the swap seem that much more special for me :)

In answer to the blind bags /trading cards question - yep i love those so I'd been fine with some of those as extras :heart: I dont mind duplicates but here/s what I have/dont have out of the blind bags:

I'm alive! Sorry everyone, been busy working on a special custom project for my partner and it's taken up a huge chunk of my spare time. :art: I'll answer some of the recent questions posted.
What would make a swap box really personal for you?
If my partner really followed my likes and put handmade things in it, that would make my box very personal. I always love receiving custom made pony items because they're one of a kind and special.
On the topic of Blind Bags, I only own a few that I picked up on a whim. I would LOVE to receive blind bags, especially any AJ ones. I don't have any of her. I would also be totally stoked with custom ones. :)
And last but not least, I leave you all with pictures of my adorable kitty, Binx.

:bump: I recieved a pony yesturday, I really hope my partner is okay with tail rust, other then that she's very pretty. :) I've been a very tired pony these last few days and it's only going to get worse, I have purchased a lot of ponies for my partner and have a fair few here already. I just need extras etc and I'm all done. I have plenty of time for that.
So if I go a bit quiet, don't panic, I'm working more than my normal hours, studying and planning and engagement party. It's feels very stressful. Just one more month until my long break! I'll check in, I'll be lurking, I just might be a bit quiet.

Goooood! :good: My box measures 2 inches over (yours adds up to 25 inches altogether , mine is 27) , but if close enough is good enough I could use those two inches :P

Finally found the right size box :biggrin: and I've got 4 ponies so far. I want to have a custom made of a certain pony but I'm having a little trouble finding the bait >_< I'm still workin on it though. I'm goin to the MN pony meet this weekend so maybe I can find one there.
As for blind bags and cards - Yes I collect both, any cards are welcome and for the blind bags I have completed wave 1 and wave 3, but I have no others at all.
I don't mind tail rust, it pretty easy to fix :)
Oh - and I am desprately looking for the free pony posters that are suppost to be at walmart. I have no idea how big they are or if they even fit in the box, but if they do - I would gladly take those too :)

I saw the pony posters they had all four at the VA meet framed in one big frame they were raffled off I didn't win one but oh well

I love all ponywear/accessories :lovey: I have some info in my "wanted "thread (link in sig), but I really love pony legwarmers, handmade pony outfits (boy and girl), and BnG clips/ribbons. What would be reeaally awesome would be some matching outfits for Chief and Ringlets to wear, or some wedding outfits.. or..y'know.. something like that. Its prolly too much to ask though :P :blush: I'm sure I will be happy with whatever my partner chooses to send me :lovey:

I just got 2 ponies from 2 different sellers. and am in shock. both were claiming to be in excellent conditition, no tail rust, no marks, and NO hair cuts. BOTH have tail rust, one has severe hair cut, and is disgusting, im turning that one into a custom, the other has stains all over its face an side, same colour as hair. So dissapointed. Why do they lie!!! So one will be a custom, and one an extra, as they took over 4 weeks to get here, dont have time to send back etc. Ebay sucks.....
On a brighter note, just finished one CUTE custom. woohoo. just gotta finish this new one now, and that will be it I recon. maybe..

I have had NO luck at finding my partner's pony reasonably priced, and all the BINs keep getting snatched up, maybe someone else in this swap is looking for the same one I am seeking- never thought this pony would be so hard to track down, but I should have known based on how long it took me to find a decent one for my own collection. On a positive note I have 3 in decent shape, but none mint....
I'm an accessory NUT! I have most of the common ones. I could only pick a few of my armies. If Spike, Brandy, Twinkles, Duck Soup, Snowball, catnip or any of those variances sneaks in the box I'd be very pleased! Cuddles and Twinkles have a bond as depicted in one of the 24 piece puzzles!

Don't like it, if you have mastered tail clean- please clean it for me! I prefer the heads to be factory sealed and the tail NOT to be zip tied- as original as possible please!

Yep I looooove jewellery :lovey: I wear necklaces and earrings that match each other, and that match my outifts , so that means I like them in any color, since I have... er.. rather a lot of outfits in different colors :blush: :lookround: - but that makes it easier if anyone wants to send me jewellery doesnt it? :P I also wear bracelets, and anklets.
I prefer jewellery that isnt too small and delicate since I have long (and sometimes unruly) hair that its easy for small delicate necklaces or earrings to get lost or tangled up in ;) I love hearts/heart pendants and matching earrings especially, but I like many different styles. No skulls or religious symbols though please ;)
oh.. and yes I have pierced ears

I had a friend helping me prep for my latest custom, and while the paint was mixed she went ahead and airbrushed another bait for me... but it will NOT fit in the box. But it would make an awesome custom and I think my partner would love it... so now I am having a crisis about cheating and getting a sliiigghhtly bigger box.

I love jewelry! Bit fussy though - only silver tone jewelry. I LOVE jewelry that incorporates real feathers, shell and gemstones, but I HATE fake shell and gemstones. I like skull jewelry too :)

Haven't popped in for a little while. I finally got the last hair order I was waiting for, so I have one cutsom to finish. I am still having a crisis of conscience over the posibility of finding a new box... if I could find a box that was only a TINY bit bigger I'd feel okay about it, but every box I have (other than the noes I'm using) is way over the limit, so I just can't do it! My partner might get a sneaky custom sometime in the future >.>
I think I need to just bite the bullet and wrap everything I have and see how my box looks!

Its only high in the middle, so is same box but the roof meets in the middle a couple cms higher than everywhere else. I tried to jamm it better, but the paper takes up extra room too! Couldnt find pony paper anywhere, so just used what I had here, Heres a teaser for you!

NoD, don't stress if the custom isn't perfect! Just found that my Wal-Mart had stocked some Wave 3 blind bags (a double-display box), so spent several minutes in the toy aisle looking up the numeric codes so I could pick the perfect ones for my partner (and me)!

lol! Awesome. :) We just got a 40 pound fairytail pumpkin from some friends who grow them and we're trying to figure out what to do with it all. We've already got a huge batch of pumpkin soup made and I think I will be making a loaf of pumpkin bread to put in my partner's box. Gotta spread the love! :P

Yeah, there are a couple of baddies down there. Conversely, the US only has three dangerous spiders, and two aren't that baad to anyone who's not weak somehow...unhealthy, or very young or very old.

I can appreciate spiders, but I can't say I like them. Last fall a big, beautiful spider built a gorgeous web on the *Outside* of my bathroom window. I enjoyed watching it work on the web and catch flies. But that was *Only* because he was on the outside. If he had made the mistake of coming in he would have gotten squashed! :yikes:

I paid for the last ponies! ^.^ there's one that was a bit pricey I hope I can part with her... I hope the stuff I ordered arrived fast but, hey, I won't get my hopes up..
As for spiders outside yes, they're fine... Inside, unless they are a huntsman they get squished... By my fiancé as I am scared if them :P I did have a pet huntsman I named him Hunter. He was a good spider but even he scared me at first.

As for hunstmen, I LOVE those--they're gorgeous. There's a type of hunstman called a Fishing spider or a fisherman. I've seen pictures of one that was sort of blueish. Now THAT looked cool.

TBH I could never squish one if I found it inside.. I have vacuumed them up when no-one else has been around to hear me scream in terror as a spider big enough to put a saddle on has run across the floor at me... I call that self defense though :silly: Normally I call for help and hubby or my mom will appear and catch the monster and put him outside where he belongs :accomplished: You should see how big they grow around here :yikes:
Funny thing though is that I am not scared of Terantulas. I've held one and I can have them crawl on me and I'm fine with that

I'm actually kind of in a spot right now. I have enough ponies, extras and can afford shipping, so it's nothing serious.
Anyway, I decided to buy a few more last minute ponies for my partner on October 9th from an Arena seller overseas. I sent the payment over and my address, but I haven't heard a peep from the seller since. I am assuming the ponies were shipped, but I'm not sure. If they were sent, then by my calculations, they should be here already. I messaged the seller, but haven't heard anything back. In fact, they haven't been online for a week now. So what should I do?? Wait for the ponies to show up? Ship without them??
I have a ton of ponies for my partner already, but there was 1 I really wanted. What would you guys do? I think I'm going to hold off shipping until Monday. If they arrive by then, great. If not, then I'm going to be bummed out.

Well the only car that was at my house that day was the sitters - and she didn't notice my mail in her back seat until she got home.

ChipsteRJ - well, I live out in the country, so I guess I'm not too worried, besides I don't leave anything in there thats worth anything. The only option my mailman has if it doesnt fit in my mail box is leave it on my door step - which if it rained or snowed, it would get wet! or put in the car. I guess I prefer them to put the mail in my car, but it's only a problem when it's not my car thats parked there :P
And michelle53, Summer-blade I wish you guys good luck during the storm! Hopefully everything will be o.k. I think its kinda weird that a storm like this is happening when I'm seeing snowflakes here!

I had a really long day at work today, so imagine the sheer Jodi felt when I came home to a Medium sized USPS box sitting on my kitchen table.
There.are.no.words. My box blows everything away. Our fantastic swap host, Clones_Rebellion, sent me the mother of all swap boxes!!
I cannot express how incredible my box is. I had tears in my eyes as I unwrapped each beautifully wrapped item. It took me close to an hour to open everything. Its really dark lighting in my house, so I'll post the pics I took tonight, then better ones I'll take in the morning:)

The main issue is, according to the tracking it's been recieved. :( So I don't know what to do.... I can't stand Aus post .

The box is gone. :cry: I was told its either at the wrong address or someone stole it. I'm crying right now that had a really good pony. I can't afford a replacement box. This shouldn't have happened! I just wanna curl up in a ball and cry for the rest of the night now . I'm hoping that the lady was right and it's at the depot. That what the lady at the counter said... But the guy on the phone says that it's at the address.

I have a parcel to pick up from my post office tomorrow.
At the moment I'm not sure if it is my swap box, because I expect 2 other parcels as well..but I hope so. :)

The box is gone. :cry: I was told its either at the wrong address or someone stole it. I'm crying right now that had a really good pony. I can't afford a replacement box. This shouldn't have happened! I just wanna curl up in a ball and cry for the rest of the night now . I'm hoping that the lady was right and it's at the depot. That what the lady at the counter said... But the guy on the phone says that it's at the address.

Oh, no you don't! :hug: It's entirely possible your partner doesn't live at the address it got sent to. It might be their parents, or a work address. Be patient. Especially considering you got two different answers when you called about it. We'll wait another day or two and then I'll ask your partner directly. I'd hate to spoil the surprise! :hug:

But sometimes you also get the info "delivered" when it stocks in customs - or like clones said it is an alternative adress of your partner - parents, working place, a shop etc..
I'm the best example - I have a post box. When I get smaller parcels or letters by registered mail it's also marked as "delivered" when it arrive sto the Post Office - and it can take 2-3 days until I go there to find a note that I have to pick up a parcel.
Only the bigger boxes which came with DHL here in Germany, came directly to my house.

Don't panic yet! Postal tracking can be so weird sometimes. I had mail the other day that said it was mailed on the 24th and delivered on the 27th, but when it actually showed up on the 31st it showed that the postage wasn't even printed until the 26th... so who knows WHAT the post office was tracking!
Give it a few more days like Clones said. And if the worst has happened, we'll be here to help with a replacement box :)

I'm so sorry to go MIA again myself over the weekend :redface: My health is still dodgy and I am taking a while to get stable. I'm still better than I have been over the last few weeks, but have to take each day as it comes. No news, I filed for an investigation yesterday as I refuse to give up on it. The thing I noticed, is that on the Aus post Facebook page there's people complaining about the exact same thing as me. I hope that we find out about our packages soon. :(
I refuse to give up on it at the moment, I don't believe it's lost or stolen. I'm happy to replace the box if it takes to long but I'm not giving up on this one.

I hate the new Photobucket too! There is a place to leave feedback, so I complained about it and to my surprise I got an email from them. You can opt out of the new setup and use the old format. So I did. Immediately! Much better! :P
