So I was shopping in Target looking for a cooling stand for my laptop, and I decided to stop by the pony aisle. Leafing through the singles I noticed both Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose! :biggrin: I bought Diamond Rose and I plan on getting Cherry Pie next week. The accessories she comes with are so cute. She even came with stickers! Just a heads up for those who might be looking for them!

Also found Cherry Pie at my Target... someone had beat me there. All of the singles were laying all over the shelves haha. I'm hoping Walmart will get them soon. Also... I picked up the other traveling ponies they had and Twilight Sparkle's body/head color mismatch is the worst I've seen yet. She's just awful. Her body is almost a pink color rather than purple.

Wooot I stopped by Target and found them both!! They were hiding behind a Snowcatcher. I got one of each, and there was 1 extra Diamond Rose left :)

I'm hoping my boyfriend can find them near him soon... he's in MI, but I'm in Newfoundland, Canada right now and in the middle of nowhere...no nowhere to buy toys from right now (except online with ridiculous shipping, so not getting them that way unless I have to)

Yeah, like Rhini said, they don't have unique ISBNs. When stores get these ponies they just come randomly in a box labeled "My little pony assortment" or something like that.
Really don't like it when they do that, because it means that they usually don't keep a variety on the shelf or put out new ones (like Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie for example) even when they might have them in a box in the back. Good luck getting employees at some stores to go look for you too >_<

Well, I'm not confident that they'll make it over to Malaysia, so I've just decided to take the plunge and get it over with.
The singles don't have a unique ID for each pony, they're all lumped together under the same code for single pony. I can still look if you want.
There should be one or two sets of five digit numbers printed in fine print at the bottom of the age rating box. It's the Hasbro catalog number, and I think toy stores can use the number to order that specific it toys from Hasbro. You should be able to use that in place of the ISBN# when asking Hasbro I think.

In that situation I wouldn't blame you. I thankfully have different outlets available to me so I don't have to buy them for $8 USD a piece plus shipping.

I'll be headed to Target this weekend so hopefully I'll find Diamond Rose. I really want her, but not Cherry Pie. Actually, Cherry Pie is the first normal release pony I'm not planning on getting. She looks too much like Cherry Berry (who I like better) and I have too many pink unicorns already.

My Target had only one each of the main six ponies with luggage, but no Cherry Pie or Diamond Rose. I guess I'll just have to keep checking. At least I didn't walk away empty handed. I found an adorable Hello Kitty jewelry box and I grabbed more stickers for my Panini Hello Kitty album.

I just found one Cherry Pie and no Diamond Rose at Target.
There was only one Cherry Pie at that; this particular Target had an overabundance of Fluttershy-s (Fluttershies?) for some reason.

Does anyone know if the "wave" with just the luggage ponies came with the Applebuck dvd's or just the wave of them that include Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie, or both? I am wondering because I stopped at a TRU and Target in a near town and the TRU had the luggage mane 6 without the dvds and Target had one lone RD luggage pony left and she had a dvd with her. Just wondering if I may have missed out on CP and DR at that store and how close they may be getting to my area.

I've seen two targets with wave 5 so far (no DVD), and they both only had duplicates of the mane 6 with no Diamond Rose or Cherry Pie.
Are those two shortpacked?
And I've noticed that RD's duck and TS's dog had pretty bad paint smudges on their white plastic :yikes:

Yesterday at Target, I contemplated picking up Cherry Pie but picked up Honeybuzz instead (her bumblebee pet tipped it over in her favor).
Now I want Cherry Pie too. :yikes:
EDIT: Woooooo, I was able to pick up both Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose from the Target near my work today! They restocked all the goodies today, it seems, as I saw tons of Operettas (Monster High) as well.

I got a notice last week from hasbro toy shop saying that my DR and CP have shipped!!! I can't explain why I'm so excited to get these two!!

I have not yet seen any ponies with an Applebuck Season DVD that didn't have a Cherry Pie hiding somewhere in the rack. She just isn't as popular as the beautiful Diamond Rose in my area, it seems. I think she is very lovely though.

That's where I actually found both of them as well. Had to pay a little more (a little of $7 each), but it'll save me on gas as I won't need to be stalking my Targets & Toys R Us for them anymore, LOL.

This was what I was thinking but I wasn't sure because the pegs at the Target I checked were all wiped out except one lonely travel RD and I am not aware of any other collectors in my area unless someone grabbed them to put on ebay which would be really annoying lol. I am crossing my fingers that they will be here in my town eventually though!

It wasn't in Canada, my boyfriend is from Michigan. TRU marks up everything...but usually the brushable singles there are only $6 (as opposed to $5 everywhere else), but I guess they decided to capitalize on popularity or something.

Found cherry pie & diamond rose at target this weekend! They were sitting all by they're lonesome. We also have the baggage ponies now.

Target specifically has an Easter display with a bunch of candy, and they have a spot for toys much like their $1 thing in front, and one of the spots is for the luggage ponies. :) If you cant find them in toys, check back there!

Same here, only the mane 6. I've been to 2 targets, a walmart and a tru over the last few days and no luck finding these two :cloud:

I have never seen the DVDs packed with any of the G4s here, in any store. And this goes for all five waves. I mean, I don't really care since I don't want the DVDs anyway, but I just found it strange that others keep seeing ponies packed with DVDs while I haven't. I just wonder how they determine who gets the DVD versions and who doesn't.

My boyfriend grabbed these for me while he was out, he said that only one more of each was still there. That was around 7:30pm EST, so there's a chance they might still be there when the store opens tomorrow if anyone has been looking.

I don't know what the normal price is for the ponies at Target.. like $5.35 or something? They are reduced to $4.99. It isn't much, but I was getting price info for someone and noticed the change (and a sale sign).

As for the ones on sale, I noticed that some of the Canterlot items had price cuts, such as the Celebration at Canterlot Castle as well as Fashion Style Celestia & Luna.

Yes, Canterlot items are on sale until March 3rd. The fashion style royal sisters, the giant canterlot castle, starbeam's set, fashion styles, and shine brights. So I'd pick up any items you want soon.

Ha! I was there yesterday and totally texted my friend about how ridiculous $9 was for single ponies. They only had one lonely pinkie Pie and I think she'll be there quite a while poor gal.

As for CVS/Walgreens always being drastically more in pricing, I remember this from when I saw Midnight Dream there years back when Crystal Princess line was waning out and I couldn't find MD anywhere. I had to suck it up and pay $9 for her. Kmart is about 50% more in pricing than Walmart or Meijer in my area too. Their singles are $7.99 or something. Gragh. :drunk:

My Targets are either $5 or $5.50, it's strange lol.
For those of you who overpaid, you could always go buy a normal priced pony somewhere else, then return it with the receipt from the higher priced place. I've done that a couple times when I had to buy a figure I really wanted at a drugstore.

There was one lonely luggage PP with a Dvd left on the shelves and I asked for an associate to check on more and there should have been 25 of them but the other 24 had disappeared. They were supposed to be on sn Easter Hasbro toy endcap but they apparently disappeared :(

Newport, KY had both these girls.

Yes! I couldn't even believe it. I literally was holding Diamond Rose in my hand because I was thinking about getting her but when I spotted blind bags and dropped her because I was so shocked :lol: CVS was honestly the last place I thought I would find anything like that lol

Yes! haha I don't know if I just happened to stumble upon the one CVS that had them or what but it would be worth others checking into theirs just in case ^.^ I just stopped there to grab something else totally irrelevant to ponies so we were just passing through the town, there's a local CVS downtown where I live so I know I'm definitely going to be checking there soon to see if they have the as well :biggrin:

I actually remember reading this on here somewhere and I did check there in all the Targets and they weren't with the Easter stuff either. I even asked the associate about that and he said the computer didn't mention them as being there at all. Just in the toy section on an endcap.

I've been finding more of the mane 6 and less of the other ponies. I'm always tempted to buy extra of the other ones.

I think I have discovered that my Target only restocks the toys on Tuesdays. Last Tuesday I went promptly after work and they had put out several luggage ponies for the first time but only the main 6 minus Rainbow Dash. I haven't seen hide nor hair of the other two gals. I also still haven't found the two train cars either.

I have only seen ONE Diamond Rose at Target (and that was randomly in Tucson...) I've been going periodically to a couple of Targets near me (not actively or thoroughly searching for them), and checking Walmart when I'm there... and I haven't seen hide nor hair of EITHER of them in my area (Phoenix.) >.<

I still haven't found Diamond Rose. I just checked Target again today and the single ponies they had were in two different spots, but where mostly picked over. There were a few of the luggage ponies, but again, just the main six, minus Rarity and Pinkie Pie. They also had several wave 4 ponies.
I'll probably have to end up trading for her or something. My area doesn't tend to get everything, so I guess I'm not surprised. I had to trade with or buy from members here to get most of the FS ponies as well as all of the wave 3 & 4 ponies.

I've found them in their normal spot on an aisle... then they have a few on an end cap (it's not completely MLP merchandise... mostly small disney princess stuff, and Littlest Petship I think...)

Same here! It's driving me mad that they have been other places so long now and I haven't been able to find them. :yikes: I'm trying so hard to be patient because I'm afraid as soon as I buy them online they'll show up.

My Target didn't have any ponies in the Easter section at all. I'm going to check Wal-Mart again today, so hopefully they'll have them, but I'm not too optimistic.

I found Diamond Rose this morning while buying cat food at CVS. She was with the other ponies in this wave (minus Cherry Pie) in the easter section of the store, as opposed to the toy section where they have some wave 1 ponies. I didn't pick her up because of the high price, but, it's another place to add to the list!

Um... so I'm a newb when it comes to G4 stuff lol. However, I picked up a Diamond Rose for trade fodder. Have the boy blind bag ponies come down to a steady price yet? And... would a Diamond Rose be a fair trade for one? I really am clueless. xD

Blind Bag boys are £2 in the UK to purchase and relatively easy to find...you can see from the sheer quantity of them that turn up on ebay and they are not fetching the high prices that they were at the start. But G4s are $5 in the US and she seems a hard to find G4 at that...the wave 3 blind bags are relatively easy to track down over here right now - and your shipping would be higher for 1 brushable over 1 blind bag. If you are simply looking for some of the boys let me know and I can see if I can find them for you rather than you having to trade away a hard to find brushable who you could maybe trade for an equally hard to find brushable in the future!

Same here... I've only found 2 Cherry Pies... and 1 Diamond Rose... period.
In fact... my errands took me near THREE Targets yesterday. I stopped in each one, hoping to see these ponies... and the scary fact was... NONE of those Targets had ANY single ponies AT ALL. I mean ZERO. Their pegs were 100% empty! Not even a single straggler...
I found that REALLY odd... why would multiple Targets be 100% out of single MLP stock!?

All the shops are pretty low on MLP stock here, except for the big stuff. Singles are almost sold out everywhere. I do snatch up CP and DR whenever I find them though. I'm hoping that the low stock means there will be a new release soon... but that is not necessarily it.

My three local stores have mane 6 luggage ponies and a handful of the prior wave, but they are shelf warming. :(
the CMC sets that were here at my "kroger"brand store finally sold. we got lots of trains and talking celestias. one store is completely out of wave 1 blind bags and the other has two full boxes! No DR or CP at all.

Target just has half of the mane 6 and TRU has no single ponies.

I'm surprised I still haven't seen either one in my area. After I couldn't find them I ended up buying them from other members a few weeks ago, but usually when I do this, they tend to show up in my area a week or two later. Seriously, this happened with the wave 3 and 4 ponies. I couldn't find them so I gave up looking and had another member pick them up (not both waves at once, this was two separate transactions with two different people) and both times, I'd find them at the store within 2 weeks. Sometimes I think I need to be more patient, but so far it looks like doing this with Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose was worth it. You'd think by now Hasbro would have the distribution issues worked out, but they seem to be just as bad as when the G4s first showed up.

Target had them months ago..." but I didn't grab them... couldn't afford them at the moment. I've already got them both. It still astonishes me that they aren't being seen all over.

There were others (the mane 6 with and without dvds mixed together) there were only one of each of Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose that I saw. I snatched them up so quick :lol:
My area has had the mane 6 without dvds for a couple weeks so when I first went down the aisle and saw an AJ with the DVD in front I was so excited that meant new stock!

Yeah, she was gone. I'm hoping the more South Walmart gets a shipment too, but they're stocked to the brim with Travel ponies, so it might be awhile. Thanks again!
ETA: There's was a Cherry Pie left in the Brigham City Walmart when I left today (5/18). Looks like they're getting easier to find!

I found them at Target on Friday, yay :D (I live in Mobile, Alabama) I bought Cherry Pie and my sister bought Diamond Rose for my birthday so I have to wait til June 30th to get her, hehe ^_^
