New Year - New Heaven - New Swap !!
I thought it's still toooo long to wait until I start the next advent calendar swap -
so who's ready for a new Sternenstaub Swap??
   
BASIC INFO
The title already gives it away - this is 4 Seasons Swap and your swap box must include all 4 Seasons.
You must sent at least 3 flowers from your partners wantlist which stay for 3 different seasons. For season Nr. 4 you can buy an extra, make a custom or anything else.
For example: You buy G3 Jollygiggle (Spring), G1 Good Weather (Summer), G1 Skydancer (autmn) and for the winter season you make a winter theme custom or you add winter/christmas theme stuff.
It's also allowed to buy a fart for any season that you end up with 4 different flowers for 4 different seasons for your partner - as long as you clear at least 3 seasons with flowers. :)
 
Anybody can also add a small list with random flowers to their wantlists as well. Maybe your partner has a hard time to hit the $30,- level with the 3 seasons them flowers - so he can pick up 1-2 random flowers from your list as well.

RULES
- Per Heaven rules you must be at least 16 years old.

- You should have a positive trader/selling feedback and at least 150 posts here in the Heaven.
Also you must be an active member since 6 month or more!

- You should have swap expiriences in the past!

- The spending minimum for the complete box (include all flowers, candy, other gifts) is $30,- and you must include at least 3 flowers from your partners wantlist - any fart for a different season.
Season Nr.4 you can clear with a custom or other handmade stuff or with seasons theme stuff.

- This is a wishlist swap - but please make sure that the flowers and accessoires aren't to expensive, because the spending minimum for the complete box is $30

- Shipping isn't included in the spending limit. Please sent your package with tracking if possible. I don't care for lost unregistered parcels.

- Don't contact your partner by PM - it's much funnier till the end when we don't know who is our partner until the packages arrive.

- Please include a note so your partner will know who the box came from.

- Use the safest shipping method and save a proof for yor shipped box.

Not super picky. I don't mind marks or small hair cuts/trims. I don't like BIG marks, discolored heads/bodies, MAJOR hair cuts, and missing tails, symbols or body parts!

5. Do you collect anything else besides My little Pony?
I love Mermaids, snails and sea horses! I also really like Sailor moon, Professional cosmetics, and small cute things!

6. Other Likes/Interests/Hobbies? (Tell us here a bit more about you)
I am a professional make up artist, I love spending time with friends and shopping. I love foreign candy and chinese food!

7. Would you like to receive a custom? Any special wishes here?
I do not actively collect customs.

I like Spring a lot! And yes I would love seasonal extras!

I LOVE gummy candy. I also really like chocolate! I love foreign candy and trying random new bizarre things!

I'm not huge into peanut butter and I am allergic to tomatoes.

I'm a very pickxy collector and prefer my ponies in mint/near mint condition. White ponies should be white!
Writting marks under hooves are okay and I like sunfaded hair.  ;)

Care Bears, Postcards, anything with cats on it, Stationary

Reading, Writting Letters, my garden, my cats, travelling, baking, ice-skating ...

What a nice idea, I love it!

However, there are not that many ponies that can be associated with a season, are there?
So our wantlists wouldn't be very big I guess...

And I think most of the ponies can be associated with sping, if they have flowers or butterflies :)

When you look at all generations you can find a lot.
Blind Bags, Dollymixes etc.. are allowed as well - so I guess anybody can find a couple of ponies.
I will also update the pony examples for the different seasons step by step, that anybody have more ideas for their wantlists. ;)

Ok guys, I updated the list with pony examples in the first post.
These are just a few examples - there are much more seasons theme ponies out there. :)
 
 
As long as anybody follow the rules to pick up at least 3 seasons theme ponies for their partners, I'm okay with it when anybody add a small list with random ponies to their wantlists - so you gave your partner a chance to round up your box or to hit the budget of $30,- when your seasons ponies are way under budget. ;)

Thanks for messaging me!! I think I really want to sign up for this...I really like how we have until May to send...that gives a nice amount of time to find the ponies and put the box together. And what a unique idea!! I'll send in my form in the next few days : )

Aw you made big lists of the ponies! You're right, there are a lot of ponies that can be seasonal if you just use your imagination :)

I'll definitely think about this, but I have 2 problems:
1) Money (but that's always a problem  :P )

2) Almost every pony I want is listed either on the Set Completer or Valentine's Swap. And those have shipping deadlines in February, so I'll probably get my packages around March. So no way I can have my wantlist for this swap ready in time.

(By the way - off topic - what does  your nickname mean Sternenstaub? I have to ask  :) )

This isn't really a problem. :)
You know where you partner is and you can tell it to me in a pm - and I can ask your partner which ponies he/she bought for you - and these info I will give away to your partner in the 4 Seasons Swap - and you'll be still surprised about both boxes. :)
 
I did that before in other swaps with other members when a person posted a simulare wantlist in both swaps - so no worries - it isn't really a big problem.

I was going to avoid swaps for a little while to try and build up my funds, but I might go into withdrawal! So since I have until May to spend $30, I think I can swing it! That's $10 a month, after all.

I am not picky at all! I would like all the pieces of the pony to be there, but even that is up for debate! I don't mind haircuts, marks, pindot- I believe all of the ponies deserve love, and I also know my wishlist is getting more difficult. Please no living mold, though- my hubby is mighty allergic!

5. Do you collect anything else besides My little Pony?
I like Holly Hobbie dolls, vintage dish towels, and mugs that say "I had a bad idea." I recently discovered these things, they were advertising cups in the 1970's or so, I think. I’m also a tree nerd, so I would love a pressed leaf from a plant that’s common where you live- though you should tell me what the plant is, I’m not very good at identification!

6. Other Likes/Interests/Hobbies? (Tell us here a bit more about you)
I love gardening! I also like information on living "off the grid," or independently of outside help. Things like growing your own food, building wind turbines, herbal remedies, stuff like that. I admit it, I'm a prepper. Don't judge me.
I have an Olde English Bulldogge named Otis who loves to chew things- but please no plush chew toys. I don't want him to confuse his toys and mine! My cat, Lazarus (remember him?) likes cat stuff. I'm not sure if he likes catnip, we haven't tried that yet. My parrot likes nuts and potato chips, and my boa constrictor just likes to lay in the heat.

Customs of Aurora are always welcome! She’s midnight blue with sea green hair with little splashes of red, like the northern lights. Her symbol is the same- streaks of sea green with hints of red. It doesn’t matter where on her body they are, they move.
My only request is that if you make a custom, please let the bait be genuinely BAIT. Someone who can’t be saved.

I love Fall. My birthday is in October, and it’s always been my favorite month. I’m open for anything as an extra, that’s part of the fun!

I’m a big fan of Oatmeal Crème Pies, I love hazelnut things, I’m really open to anything here! I prefer milk chocolate over dark, and I don’t like black licorice.

I don’t like black licorice or anything with that flavor. I’m not allergic to anything food-wise, but my hubby is allergic to nuts. I’ll leave it up to you if you want to be nice to hubby and send something he can share, or if you want me to hide the candy from him!

The Advent Calendar swap, both years! Also the little swap, the culture swap, a few holiday swaps… I love swaps!

Stains and other unremoveable marks are really my biggest issue. While I can deal with them on the NDS, I really prefer my ponies to be as mark free as possible.
 
Of course... there are instances (particularly where Gusty is concerned... ;) ) Where I will gladly take in the nastiest, marked up, smoozed pony... :lol:

DVDs/Movies... books... KY Derby glasses (I really need to get an inventory of those I have...  :lookround: ) Um... I could probably think of more... but my brain is tired ATM... :lol:

I don't mind very small body marks or eyelash rubs. I'm more a stickler on having no symbol rubs, and I really dislike mane/tail/forelock trims. As mint as possible is what I always try for! ^^

Probably more than I should. :lol: I absolutely love small polished stones, little gems like quartz (pinky nail sized, I used to get them from gumball machines, I have a huge jar of them!). Anything with little unicorns on it, like pins or hair barrettes. I also love Japan and love to pick up little decorations, stationary, etc. if it has an Asian theme (like pagodas or cherry blossoms). And I collect a lot of candy... in mah belly. >.>

(Oh, I also collect anything and everything with Rainbow Dash on it. I have a TON of G3 Rainbow Dash merchandise but I don't have anything at all yet with G4 Rainbow Dash, except the first McD toy.)

I'm a writer by heart, I write children's books and books for preteens. I love anything to do with fantasy, like all the interesting fantasy creatures in the Friendship is Magic show!

I try to be an arts n' crafts type of person, though I am no way as talented as the customizers here! But I do try my hand at customizing so I always need pony hair. And I like making little plush dolls out of felt so I'm always looking for new sheets of felt in different colors and little swatches of different fabrics to make little plushie clothes out of, glue-on sequins/plastic jewels/buttons etc.!

I have a small collection (4-5) of dragon-themed MLP customs. ^^ Some are fully sculpted to look like dragons, some have painted dragon symbols or scales on their bodies, etc. I love dragons!

My fave season is spring, and I have a major dislike of winter. >.< Which is mostly because my birthday is right in the middle of it, Feb. 5th! Always seems like the world is dead and sleeping during my birthday... I'd love to get a package in winter to remind me that spring will return and everything will soon be pretty and warm again.

I have a maaajor sweet tooth. >.> *pats belly* I love chocolate and flavored chocolates. I love caramel anything. I love nuget. I love nuts in chocolate. I LOVE vanilla flavored anything! And white chocolate (which is not really chocolate at all but that's okay!) Yum and more yum!

No major allergies. I don't really like mint (makes me think I'm eating toothpaste...). And I don't like red hots, sours, or anything gummy that I gets stuck in my teeth (no popcorn, I can NEVER get it out of my teeth).

Candy I like is 3 Muskateers, Milky Way, Kit Kat,Dove, Cadburry (sp?), Snickers, Jolly Ranchers, Sweet Tarts, Almond Joy, Mounds, York patties, Ghiardelli chocolate with caramel.....
If my partner happens to be overseas I'd love to try sweets unique to your country. Trying new brands is fund and sometimes European countries have the most amazing chocolate treats and snacks. I love the Loacker Quadratini wafers....especially black currant. My World Market stopped carrying that kind! NOO!!
I like fruity hard candies too.
Let is be known that I HATE gummy bears. They are just....eww.
For non sweet stuff I like cheesy things and if you can find them....ketchup flavored potato chips. They exist!
If you live where they sell Kinder chocolate stuff, I love that too!

I interpret the Seasonal Extras as things like summer toys- beach balls, frisbees, sand toys, or fall decor- halloween decorations, maybe a scarf in fall colors. For spring maybe a pack of seeds or a gardening tool, wind chimes or a kite, easter eggs, and for winter there's always cocoa! Cute mug to put it in, a good book to curl up with, chapstick and lotion because it's so gosh darn dry this winter... And now you know what some of my ideas are for extras! LOL!

I am not too super picky.  Light symbol rubs are ok and initials on the bottoms of the feet are ok too.  I do not like any marks on the pony themselves and I prefer no frizzy hair.

I have a question- here in the US, the warmest months are called Summer and the coldest are Winter. But on the other side of the planet, those warm/cold times don't happen at the same time as in the US. So here Christmas is in Winter, but is it in Summer in other countries? Hummm, this is a hard question to write...

So in Minnesota, Winter is December through early March. Is it the same where you live? And does that make a difference for what kinds of things we send to different countries? Do I send sand pails and lemonade for Winter to some parts of the world?

I think this would only be true, Aurora, if the person you're mailing to is on the southern hemisphere. Europe, Asia, and United States are all in the northern hemisphere pretty much, so we experience the same seasons.

I believe the southern hemisphere does have this reversed, so if you're mailing to someone in Australia, then they'd be having a hot Christmas and a cold July lol.


Also keep in mind climate can be affected by location even in your own country! XD I have a friend in Florida who has lived there all her life and never seen snow. She has had temps in the 80's-90's all last month and kept her AC on every day!

Dragonflitter, that makes sense! I always think it would be so strange to live somewhere that doesn't have little ice-shack villages 3 months out of the year, but I imagine that people in Florida would think it's strange to have all your trees lose their leaves!

Hooray, you're back! I'm glad you're getting the computer thing figured out, they're a blessing and a curse!
I'm fine with waiting another 2 weeks, I might be able to figure out some of the accessories I am missing from my playsets. I finally got tired of waiting for hubby to make shelves, so I set up a row of tables in the pony room and have been going through boxes like a crazy woman! I have castles in corners, and realized my Lullabye Nursery is very yellow but I don't want to replace it, it has too many memories. And I have a giant box of accessories and furniture, but I'm not sure what anything goes to. I'll start going through that sometime...

while we wait, I have another question! Who would like to get McPonies in their swap box? I am planning on getting all of them while they are at McDonalds, and as many extras as I can stomach. I've actually made my family move our "out to eat night" to Tuesday and go to McDonalds until the pony promotion is over! So if you aren't able to get them yourself, who wouldn't mind getting some in a swap box? Especially the ones that blend nicely into seasons! LOL!

Different, new ones. We were in a swap together pretty much a year ago, weren't we! Haha! This is the same ponies, but they have knobs on their heads where little clips attach. I actually haven't seen them in person yet, but they're brand new, just started this week, I think!
This set has Lily Blossom, but I don't think it has Cheerilee. And I looked on ebay, the prices for the new ones aren't insane like they are/were for the last set. That set was the only time I've seen McDonald's ponies in super-high demand!
 
ETA: It does have Cheerilee. It's the Mane 6, plus Lily Blossom and Cheerilee.

So sorry about your netbook! I know how that can be! (my laptop monitor has been acting... oddly lately... it' making me worry about the computer itself. O.o

Anywho... I'm good with waiting a little longer! My previous swap is over... I need to go over my "Wish list" a little more to refine it... but I'm pretty much ready to go... and ready to have fun with a more "themed" swap! :D

I'm a fairly picky collector.  With that said if the pony looks good/almost perfect on display I'm happy with that. Marks under hooves are np nor are minor marks that aren't very noticeable. I do not accept cuts/bits missing, head/body color missmatch, haircuts or any major unremoveable marks :)

I like cats & most animals (I own two cats) + I read a lot of fantasy & sci fi books. I used to draw alot but nowadays I usually don't have that much time for it. I work with computers, marketing & social media as well as homepages (mostly the frond end design aspect of them). I like rock, metal & irish folk music and I used to wear a lot of black but then I grew out of it lol :D But my favorite color is still black, purple and a bit of grey & neon green/yellow.

Gusty customs would be fab :D I'm fairly picky with customs though, just as a warning. Must have good eye/symbol paint.

Winter if my fav season! I love the fluffy white snow, ice blue colors, ice in general + the aurora borealis :D Any winter theme extras would be great. I also like Gusty - autumn-ish of course.

9. What kind of Candy and Snacks do you like?
Salt licorice, sour candy, hard candies/bon bons. I kinda like Riesen, Kinder chocolate, wonka candy as well :)

10. Any Candy Dislikes or Allergies?
Not too fond on marzipan or polka-dots or chewing gums. No allergies!

How cool I noticed the name of your personas haha :D Well the northern lights have been very active this year with all the sun storms and all. Really nifty and the lights are just amazing.

I would love any G3 or G4 Cheerilee McDonald ponies but they have to be MIP for my Cheerilee MIP army.

Not at the moment - in fact I don't have any Cheerilees out of their packs at all come to think of it - they are all suffocating, lol.
My army started by accident too and I'm not really too sure how it happened! She was definitely the first G3 I bought from a shop and probably the only one that they had as she is not really my fave pony! ^_^ Although, saying that - I do love my Cheerilees! Even the G3.5s.

I might want to do some art or something for my partner and include it in the box, but I don't want to end up doing a pony you don't like. ^.^ Others might end up using this idea too, so we can all share!


My favorite character: Rainbow Dash, though I prefer her G3 incarnation over her G4. (Because I love the G3's more than FiM lol)

Dragonflitter, I keep waffling between my favorite FIM character. Most of the time it's Applejack, but the rest of them are so fascinating- like Rarity. Normally I don't like characters like Rarity, I just don't have anything in common with them. But they've had enough shows showing her other sides, her ingenuity and her willingness to do what needs to be done, even if she gets icky, that I can't help but love her.
Outside of that generation, I have soft spots for Razzaroo, Glory, and my persona, Aurora. I love Firefly too, but any art of her should have Glory in it, too! (Welcome to my personal freakishness!)

Do I have an OC? My OC, Dragonflitter, is in my sig. Her colors are a brighter version of Sparkler, my first pony toy as a child, and her symbol is a little red dragon with dragonfly wings (instead of the traditional bat wings)

Just peeking in to say I am alive and aware of the swap, LOL.  Haven't spent as much time here lately. I'm pretty excited about starting my shopping for this swap. Gonna start around late May when I get back from my vacation. Oh, maybe I can find some pretty things on the beach to include for my partner? I wonder if they like ocean stuff or seashells.

To answer some questions....

Favorite G4 pony:  I love the whole cast. I will say that my least favorite is Fluttershy, but I don't dislike her by any means. I just like all the others a little bit more. If it came down to picking favorites, I would say it's between Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie. It's so hard to decide because they are all unique in their own awesome way.

Favorite color: I am a major PINK freak! I LOVE pink stuff! I also really like lighter shades of blue and purple.

Favorite season: I love summer and fall the most. I am not very keen on winter.

McDonalds ponies: I have the whole set of the ones recently released in the US. I need the previous G4 set, however. All of them.

Ah yes, that is what I mean! OC is "original character", but I guess some people's ponysonas are Hasbro ponies! I will update my question.

I have 2-3 of my partner's wantlist ponies in my hands and another I have my eye on.

Partner, I didn't divide the ponies into seasons. If you want me to do that, let me know- or rather, let Sternen know and she'll let me know. Otherwise, I'm interested to see how you categorize them!
I have a Persona, Aurora (Sternen, I was about to ask was OC was also!). Her symbol is the northern lights, mostly green ones with a wee splash of red or white. If she were animated, her symbol would be moving, so it doesn't matter where it lands on her. She is midnight blue with sea-green hair and a red streak. The picture in my Avatar is a pretty darn good likeness, though a little less red would be more accurate. She's an earth pony. And I LOVE getting stuff with her on it- painted or plushie or anything!
My favorite season is Fall, because I like the new nippiness to the air and the colors on the leaves and the smell of dying in the air. That sounds morbid, but it's a very specific Fall smell, and I've always loved it. Recently I discovered that I look forward to Spring so I can go out and play in the garden. (Just got my first hive of bees today, very excited!)

Dazzlekitty, you can always pm Sternenstaub and she can ask your partner to re-order the list or create a new one.
Before we got our partners, I was planning on having to do some creative placement- like that Firefly is a "summer" pony because there are thunderstorms in the summer, or that Glory is a winter pony because she is white like snow... I am still planning to add little notes about the seasons, even though my partner very nicely divided her want list up into seasons.
Hope that helps a little, and hope that it fits the ramifications of the swap!

I keep meaning to respond to this thread... just to let everyone know I'm not "dead"... :lol: I've just been beyond busy!


I've aquired THREE ponies for my partner already... three seasons down... one left to contemplate! :devious: OH this is fun!

I also have plans for how I'm going to wrap these up... Oh yes... :happy: I can't WAIT for my partner to get my box!!! :cheer:

Anywho... what I missed... so let's see here...

Favorite season: Thats a bit tougher... probably autumn... because fall out here in Arizona is actually NICE. Cool weather, sometimes with a hint of warmth... and just a kiss of cold on the air. Spring is similar... but it's more likely to turn HOT on you. I also love "fall leaves" (yup... I blame Gusty. ;) )... and similar motifs... :D Not to mention Halloween is one of my fav holidays... and it's right around the corner from Xmas etc. ;)

Sigh. The pony I got was substandard. I actually complained to the person I bought it from, which I don't normally do, and my mom called me "mean." The pony was missing half her symbol, had pretty big pindot, and a yellow smear on her neck. How is that mint? HOW!!!!!!
So back to the drawing board. I was sure I had at least one of these ponies in my trade box, but she's not there now. Maybe she opened herself and is camoflaged on the shelves somewhere...

Dazzlekitty, you aren't a late shopper on this one- I've been putting it off, too, and I'm actually ON holiday right now- haven't found anything amazing as far as extras go, but I still have a full day and a drive home that may lead to cute shops.
I've won a couple ponies for my partner now, and I don't THINK they can mess up these descriptions, but I'm not counting the pony eggs until they hatch! LOL! But I have some wiggle room on these guys. The last one I would have just switched with a pony from my herd, but the two I own actually mean a lot to me, they were part of my childhood herd, and I'm not giving them up! So when I get home, I'll start shopping again.
Now to go see where my big rock went- I found a really good agate and want to enter it into the "best agate" competition for my family, but it's mysteriously gone... maybe I put it in a drawer with some other stuff...

I bought an extra for my partner! I was innocently standing in line at the checkout at Fleet Farm, and tah-dah! There it was!
I didn't win the best agate contest, BTW. I think the "judges" decided it wasn't fair, since I've taught everyone else how to find agates, so they think I'm the best. Silly family! But it's ok, Holly did find a REALLY nice one!
 
ETA: I just got the last of the ponies for my partner- now to wait until they come in the mail and see if a picture is really worth a thousand words. Then I can concentrate on extras!

So I have a box full of summer for my partner. a bit spring and at least 1 pony for winter.. Sorry partner but your list have ore summer theme wishes on it then other seasons - so the summer part will be a bit overloaded...lol... but I'm sure you'll like what I snapped for you. :)

Good news! I have 3 of the 4 ponies in my grubby little hands, making it hard to type, but they're GREAT! Keep your hooves crossed for number 4, I hope hope hope she's as good as #3!!!!

Autumn stuff is hard to find right now, I have some things I picked up on the Halloween clearances last year, but I'm not sure if it's going to work for the swap. My Autumn pony doesn't fit in the cute little Halloween gift bag I bought, I'm going to have to figure something out there!

I have a question- I know that movies have different zones, but do CD's? If I burn a cd here, will it play in other places in the world? Or even if I buy a cd here in Minnesota, will it play in Europe? Or China? If anyone knows, it would be really helpful- I was thinking about making a cd with season music, especially since every time I start to do something with this swap some motown season song jumps into my head and it's stuck there for days! Gah!

Yeeeah that confused me too. >.< Unfortunately if someone edited their post on April Fools Day, it messed up the code and the words didn't go back to normal on April 2. I think flowers = ponies but the rest confuses me...

I'm totally ok with lots of candy! I must have missed a post on here somewhere, because usually I get a message when there's a post and it hasn't been doing anything lately!

I've got all the ponies and a fair amount of extras. Now a little candy hunting and some wrapping and I'll be able to post a teaser! Hooray!

The wish list that I printed off is full of flowers and farts, which is really annoying, but I worked through it! It's the April Fool's Day that just keeps on giving!

I'm still alive... just been really super busy. 

Just a couple more interests of mine for my partner...
I have bought my first Monster High Doll and now I am in love with them. 
I have just discovered Crackle nail polish and can definitely use more colors.
I love Mexican candy.  The chili watermelon lollipops are my favorite. 
I really like Angry Birds. 

I think I already mentioned these ones...
I love cats.
I love Rubik's Cubes and I have a collection of them started.

Hi, swap buddies! I have everything for my package, but I also have an insanely busy weekend coming up! I'll try to take time on Sunday to get everything wrapped and a teaser posted, but I may be recovering. Inlaws! ACK!
Actually, I like my inlaws, but they are fussy judgemental people, and I would like the house to be spotless. If only they were really impressed by how good the pony room looks, I wouldn't have to worry about anything else in the house. Sadly, they won't even notice that I've got Paradise Estate sort of set up and have sorted out the extra furniture from the Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe. All they'll see is a blur of pink. Sigh.

Dragonflitter, you are absolutely correct! After everything is wrapped you post a picture or two (it's usually just one) with the pretty packages to make everyone, including your partner, drool!

It's a good thing I've cut down on the number of swaps I'm in, because that package cost $50 to get to my partner! Whew! But it'll be worth it, I'm really excited to see how you like it!

I reuse paper from previous swaps. I think that paper came from overseas... If I saw the user ID I could tell you exactly who it came from...

Looks like my partner should be getting their box tomorrow- it is already arrived in the destination state...

Thank you! I always have so much fun doing swaps. And the cookies are my great grandmother's recipe that she taught me. They're called Snowball cookies because they come out almost pure white and round with the mint chocolate pieces scattered throughout. Great teaser pics everyone!  :frolic:

I love all the teaser pics so far.  This is the torturous part... seeing all the teasers. 
@Jahlila... I agree, I think you are getting a box today.  LOL

I had a bit of a tough time tracking down ponies for my partner, but I think I did a good job!  I have all the ponies and a couple of extra pony related items.  I just need to get a few more extras and I should be on time to ship.

Sorry that I was a bit "silent" the last days.
I already wrote it in another thread - but just to keep you guys updated - I have had an household accident and now I have a massive burn wound on my right arm. :(
That made writting a bit hard for me and I turned into the more "reading" part on the board since a few days. :/
But slowly I feel better now.

My partners box is shipped in time and I hope that it will arrive in the next days.

My own swap box is waiting at customs for me. :(
I need my partners help to get it out of customs - but I will PM my lovely partner later. :)

I hope anybody is fine?

So now you have a burnt arm and a custom-nabbed package? That stinks! I'm sure your partner understands, though, and will be more than willing to help out if she can!

Keeping an eye out for my package, the postman usually leaves things by the back door, so I'm pretty sure she isn't keeping it for herself. Of course, she might be a closet pony collector- maybe I should ask!

But guys, it seems that this isn't my year... last night we've had a fire behind the house at our parking place. A bully and a few other cars burned out and the fire brigade was around for around 2 hours outside... at least there was no fire in the house - but it was a bad night without sleep...

Firstly, I have shipped!  My partner should expect her box by Wednesday.  Yay!  :cheer:  I hope she loves it.  I put a lot of work into finding one of the ponies - it was a labor of love, but I got a pretty near immaculate one!

Secondly ... I got my box from DazzleKitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh my gosh, and it was full of sparkle pony goodness, just like I hoped it was!!!  :D :D :D

Thank you so much, it was perfect!!!!  :hug: I'll post brag pictures later when I have my photo taking area cleaned up, hehehe.

Dragonflitter, you're wrapping looks fine! Ponies are notoriously hard to wrap, it's sort of a joke among swappers! Your package has gummy bears and a nutcracker, how could it be bad? Every package is different, and that's what makes them so much fun! If you always knew what sort of package you were going to get, it wouldn't be nearly as awesome!

*crosses fingers for gummy bears* If they're coming here, though, they better stay in the shade! It's crazy hot here right now!

And KittyKat, that's some fancy wrappin! I love the little leaves scattered on the packages, it's funny how tossing something on top of wrapped packages makes them look fancier! Now, which of those is shaped like gummy bears or homemade cookies...

Arg I'm such a dork, I purposely tried to buy candy that wouldn't melt in the mail (thus no chocolate...) because we're having such a heat wave here! But as you just pointed out, gummy bears are probably just as dangerous, eh? I hope the package stays inside the air conditioned post office buildings!

At least it's sealed in plastic so no goo will get on the ponies...and one giant melted glob of gummy bear goo might just be fun to eat anyway... >.>

Evening all!

I posted an "explaination" thread (it ended up moved to the trader support), detailing something of the year I've been having (Stern... I feel ya! I really do! O.o 2012 has been AWFUL lately!!!)

But I just posted my box today... I'm hoping its there by Wednesday. I didn't take any teasers... :( Sorry about that!

Hopefully it will be in my partner's hot little hands this week! *faints* One more thing down!!!


EDIT: I'd like to add that I HAVE received my box! It actually came sometime last week (I forget. O.o) But I've been keeping myself from opening it, and enjoying it... until I made sure to get MY parenter's box out! Now that I have mailed it... I can tear into my box! I'll post a brag hopefully tomorrow. ;)
