The Apple Jack water cutie is absolutely adorable!

As for the bootlegs, I've found all sorts of them here, too - often not in English, or with very weird names like "Applepies"  and "Pinkerpony". It's always funny to see the different things found across the world!

Pony Corral / Pony Hair Care Help?
« on: August 23, 2017, 09:27:52 PM »
Since I'm currently at my parents place, I've been working my way through a bunch of various toys and giving them some TLC.

I don't have a hair straightener/curler. I've been trying conditioner, and hot water. It seems to work beautifully for some but not others.  These are all really well played with, either being my own from childhood, my sister's or cousins, so it's possible their hair is just a bit beyond repair. I'm also a bit too scared to even start on my G1/2s and I only tried one tinsel pony, the least matted one. Most of my adulting-collection have great or manageable hair already so I haven't really needed to do much to them until now.

My major issue ponies are Meadowbrook and  Dibble Dabble.

Here's all of my before/afters so far - you can see some turned out beautifully while others, not so much, if you're intersted: http://imgur.com/a/cm2Jp

Dibble Dabble is just... frizzy and dry.

Meadowbrook's mane is just super frizzy even after several attempts at getting it smooth, it's totally brushable it's just not the best looking:

The McDonalds ponies are a little crazy but their hair seems to settle a bit, it's just very stiff.

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Damaged MOC.... what should I do?

I'm not sure about AUS post, but I know in NZ if you parcel is damaged you may have a claim to get some money off of them - especially if you have image proof of what it was before it got to you. Check out the terms and conditions wherever you can.

I've had this issue multiple times with different items - Monster Highs, nail polish, and of course ponies have been shipped with either damaged boxes or at some points, truly broken. It's worth checking out parcel insurances in the future too, or just what you can get back as is.

Hi everyone! I'm a bit of a lurker usually but thought I'd share a couple of ponies.

As I'm staying at my parents for Spring Break, these are just a mixture of my own childhood ponies, and a couple given to me by my cousin.  The rest of my collection are either in storage or at my apartment.

They all need some serious TLC so I will probably update with more of my collection + these better washed and brushed. I also have a Baby Beachball in the post so I'm hoping she makes the trip OK!

Hope you all enjoy and if you have any clean-up tips I'd be happy to hear them  :)

Tiny ins g3 Minty, mine from childhood. Box is a little damaged on the sides but otherwise fine. Was also given a Twilight Sparkle but her box is missing.

Gifted from my cousin. G2. Missing one eye gem. Really stained unfortunately.

Starswirl g3 with raincoat - have the other pieces somewhere. Slightly stained lip and her hair is frizzy, but I think she'll clean up very nicely.

Gifted from my cousin, G1 Happy Tails Romper - she's got and odd swipe across her rump under her cutie mark which looks to be the same ink and texture as her cutie mark, so not entirely sure what happened there. Her tail still moves, though!

Introductions / Hello From Hobbitton
« on: June 14, 2017, 08:18:41 PM »
Hello!

I'm Ashleigh from New Zealand, and  I grew up with a love for all kinds of pony figures. Which has left adult me trying to figure out which one came from where... in the meantime, my winter craft project is a Pinkie Pie plush! So as confusing as younger mes organisation system was, the love of ponies never really left.
