I like her and she is cute with ladybugs but, I don't like her price and I doubt I ever get one unless it was a custom pony.

Is it defintiely LamPaditsa & not LamBaditsa??? Just asking as the seller of my actual Lambaditsa was from Greece & I'm convinced she spelt the Pony's name wi the B. Definitely not a birthday Pony though. I have a G2 watch & candle set from Greece as well so I know the candle is a big part of Easter over there. So I believe Labaditsa's name would be more Easter Candle than anything if it were to be translated. I still call mine Lambaditsa though.

The letter used in Lampaditsa's name is π, which is usually transliterated as p. However it seems that in Modern Greek π is pronounced like a b, so Lambaditsa would also be correct. This was news to me as I learnt Ancient Greek and the pronunciation of lampo as lambo doesn't seem to have come about until the fifteenth century (yes, I just starting researching this ).

Lambaditsa's name basically means "little candle", from lampada, "candle". It seems Lampri is another Greek nickname for Easter as well (I am learning so much today! ).

For the curious, Ladybird's name in Greek is Πασχαλιτσα, and Candle's is Λαμπάδιτσα.
