I saw them in Toys R Us this past weekend. There were only two, Snuzzle and BlueBelle. But apparently, they're already being stocked at TRU.

I still don't get the sweet -smelling thing.

The Strawberry Shortcake retro dolls they made were scented, right? (I haven't seen them) Maybe they just had some scent leftover from those and wanted to get rid of it or something, lol.

Yeah they're scented. But they're supposed to be. If they wanted to get rid of it, they'd make the Sweetberries. I wouldn't say no to that.

Either that or they're members of Pony Sniffers Anonymous?

News from Toy Fair, yesterday I had the privilege of talking to one of the women in charge of pony and I have some great official news for you all! (The close up pictures from instagram are mine ;D)

Rainbow Ponies - They really are scented!!! Each one is scented a different thing. Some are berries, some vanilla, etc but they are lovely (this was a requested for the market).

So apparently someone asked for them to be scented and TBD obliged.  Would "the market" be retailers like Target, TRU, etc?

If only I could transfer the scents over to my sweetberry ponies. I hope they smell as good as Strawberry Shortcake toys. Usual artificial scents bug me but I like those.

Mine are mainly on Sea Ponies and Big Brother Ponies. While it would make sense for TEs and SSs to be re-released, I feel that it won't happen 

Nothing with specialized gimmicks sadly. So no TE, SS, BnG, GnS, Flutters, Princess Ponies, Color Changers etc.

Big Brothers. Hopefully both sets. DD still wants Wigwam from the second set and Tex from the first. Maybe Salty and Steamer.

I don't see why So Softs wouldn't be a possibility. There are lots of flocked toys out there now. Also a set of So Softs with perfect flocking would be a dream come true.

I could see them pulling off So Softs, Princesses, and Twinkle Eyes without their gimmicks.  The So Softs are really just regular ponies covered in flocking.  The Twinkle Eyes are like Rainbow Ponies only with different colors and the gem eyes (maybe give them glitter eyes to represent their gem eyes).  Princess ponies could have gloss paint symbols.

They wouldn't be exactly like the originals, but we would have the characters.
