I am loving these!  Would having the first year of the collector pose ponies count?  xD  Those are the main ones I was after at first...then I realized how cute the babies are...and then the handsome boys...  is anyone else experienced in this snowball effect of ooh must have this and that too?

Pony snowballs Lol yup - that gotta catch them all joy is part of pony collecting.

I have almost all the twin pony babies...need to get to work on finishing that collection. xD  I've got most bits of other collections, but I don't always try to collect the whole set.  Some I am definitely going to do....I'm tired and yammering again, sorry!

It was the ribbons which took longer Shenanigans - the clips come up a little more often than you would think but a couple of the ribbons were a nightmare!

This is wonderful seeing everyone's collections!  So many lovely ponies and so obviously loved and cared for.   

I only had one complete set when I stopped collecting in 1988, the first Twinkle Eye set, so that was one of the reasons behind my starting again    This probably sounds silly, but I always thought as a child that the ponies with the same pose in a set were best friends and this is the way I chose ponies

I've been collecting since 2003 and I still have this happen. Just when I think I don't like something...guess what...I start realizing it's pretty durn cute. I LOVE IT!

My first set was the Store Sparkle Ponies, I've just completed the First set of Rainbow Ponies, and just finished sorting out a set-by-set, chronological checklist for my G3's, so will figure out which of those sets I have. I know I've definitely completed the first year, maybe the 2nd... and since I'm starting to think I've got most of the commons of most gens I'm going to have to start looking more systematically than just lots... So I might start working chronologically... G1 Collector ponies here I come...
