I know there are 3 variants of the Gusty puffy sticker: red stripe with purple bow, red stripe with pink bow, pink stripe with purple bow but I was wondering if anyone has any more information about them, such as if it's known which pony variant the sticker variants came with and which one is rarer.

You need ashlyne for this topic!
I only have 2... I am "reasonably" sure the one I have with the red stripe with purple bow is from the movie stars set as I got it at a car boot sale in the UK and we only got Gusty with this set we didnt get the earlier Gusty...and I think it has a different font under her name [but I ll need to double check if I am remembering that right or not] and the one with the pink pink stripe and purple bow is the US one...
I havent seen one with a pink bow so cant help out on that one!

I had no idea there are variant stickers! :faint:
But I think I will bump this and watch to see the answer! :)

First, who are the candidates? Which came with stickers?
Adding the little info I have: +new info edited in:
- us gusty (glitter symbol) - came w/puffy sticker (pink stripes, purple bow)
- us ss gusty - came w/flat sticker
- uk/euro movie star gusty (non glitter symbol) - came w/puffy sticker (probably red stripe, purple bow?)
- swe/au gusty (glitter symbol but green eyes) - came w/puffy sticker (red stripe, purple bow)
- italy gusty - came w/puffy sticker (no name sticker?)
- other releases? nirvana? did they come with stickers?
puffy sticker not yet matched with a pony - red stripe, pink bow
possible explanation: batch differences?
general observation so far:
us - pink stripes
uk/euro - red stripe

It cans be SS she came with a flat sticker...and most of the italian gusty's came with one of the "no name" euro puffy sticker not one specifically for Gusty....
In all honestly I suspect the US got the pink stripe and Euro got the red....is there any chance the pink and purple bow difference could just be because the sticker was produced in several batches? There are certainly the odd and minor colour differences between other stickers which were known to only have been released the once?

So the italy ponies are the ones that came with those no name stickers..! I have been wondering where they came from. Did they all have the same pony pictured, or random ones..?
The batch theory is a good point.

Outside the UK and US, puffy stickers get really confusing!
For many of the Italian ponies - the puffy stickers were random...seldom was it the right pony mainly because quite a lot of the no name ones are recolours which dont match any particular pony and you wouldnt even be guaranteed you get one of the right type of pony [i.e. uni, peg or earth] - I honestly havent seen enough of the MOC Italians with stickers to say for definite if the same pony always came with the same no name sticker but with the random pattern of who gets what I would doubt it...it was probably whatever came to hand went in the packet! As the Italians were released in other EU countries...this is why you will get no name stickers in a couple of other languages as well...specifically German ones
