My sister took the switch, the charger/hdmi, and some games to an event with her friends. Said she put it all away when she came home.
Guess by “putting it away” she meant putting everything in a pile in the tv cabinet, so I’ve had to hook everything back up and now have to wait for it to charge. And sanitize everything because everything is sticky and covered in food residue. Just why???!

I suppose I should be glad that nothing is broken, but it’s just infuriating after she said she would be responsible and put it away. Having a bad day, just want to play some Stardew!

i told Photobucket to delete my account. i haven't used it in maybe 10 years. and every day they send emails threatening to delete my account. yes, please delete it like i asked you to. it's been like this for well over a year...

I had trouble deleting my Photobucket account too.  I don't know if they ever did or not.

That annoys me too when people don't put things back like they found them or when you loan something to someone and don't get it back in the  same condition.

My work supervisor sent out 2 emails and both said "Let me know if you're interested."  I responded to the first one but my supervisor sent an email back saying "thanks for signing up for the second thing."  It was clear she didn't even read my email as I put what I was interested in as the subject line and in the text clearly said what I was responding to.  She didn't even get my name right.   I sent another email restating that I was responding to the first thing, not the second thing, but I haven't heard back.

Beth

Headache and my knees hurt, not sure what that's about.

My mom has been on me about cooking and bringing her food again. This time she wants steak. Like expensive steak. I have never cooked a steak in my life. Also, her dentures don't fit and she's always telling me she can't chew anything, so like??? How are you gonna eat the steak? I'm going to try and convince her just to get Outback Steakhouse to deliver. That way she can get a steak, I can get the salmon, and we'll have sides. The cost will be about the same as the steaks she wants to buy. I don't know why she's so hung up on me cooking her stuff.

I was in the bathroom getting ready for bed when I heard a heavy rustling sound and saw our security light switch on. I called out the bathroom window, Who's out there? And the noise immediately stopped. Double checked and locked the doors and windows, and peeked out the backyard. (I hate sliding glass doors.) It looks like our next door neighbor is checking around his backyard too. So something is going on.

A writer that I think is a bit new to publishing stories on Archive of Our Own posted a new one yesterday.  I skimmed it to see if it was something I'd like, but quickly decided it wasn't my taste.  I noticed that 2 negative comments had been posted calling the story "a mess" and also tomato emojis.  This morning, I noticed the author had deleted the story.  Even though I didn't care for that story I skipped commenting on it, as I wouldn't be able to say anything nice or constructive.

I shaved my head and sent a picture to my mom. She has always been very weird and jealous about my hair. This is the pic I sent, I also posted it on my Facebook page.

My mom said, "You shouldn't be smiling." and I asked why and she said, "It makes you look worse." :cloud:

BC, your hair is your business, don't let your mother's careless comments bring you down :/

Ponyfan - I also hate when people write unnecessarily negative comments. Constructive criticism is one thing - I've had some great feedback writers in past fanfic years give me great feedback like that. But just attacking someone else's writing is not on. Especially since you can almost guarantee the people commenting don't understand how much work goes into writing.

I just skip by stories I don't want to read/that don't interest me.

I don't really have a complaint for today. Good day at work, finished early, sunny and yet not too hot here.

Although the slugs have chewed a couple of my basket plants. That's annoying.

Thanks. I don’t really care about my looks anymore but coming from my mom, it hurt 😞

So I had a good day. Three days ago. I felt better and was able to clean up the kitchen and bathroom. I separated my laundry and planned to wash the bedding and my winter blankets that have been on the floor since February. I also wanted to move the PS4 into the bedroom. I was feeling good! Thinking about doing all these things!

And just like that, I feel awful again. I think I’m getting another ear infection. My allergies are terrible, my back and knee hurt. Ugh 😣

My complaint is animal hoarders who can’t afford their animals and are liars.  We have two sisters who are clients of ours, they live together.  They keep adopting new animals.  They have horses, dogs and cats.  Horses get hurt/sick, they can’t pay until they get their social security checks.  They adopted two cats last year from an adoption agency with a no declaw policy.  They declawed them anyway, but sadly this happens often, not just these folks.  This year they adopt two new cats from the shelter.  One was too young to be fixed, so county regulations say the client has to get cat neutered by the end of May.  They want to declaw both cats and neuter the one, but they don’t have the money right now 😳🙄😳🙄. Why are you adopting animals you can’t afford?!?!  She says she is going to talk to the county.  I hope they fine her.  I hope the cat hits puberty and sprays her house.
