Unicorn Grove

I made this pony for the custom contest at Poniconi, a pony convention held in Espoo, Finland last weekend. She didn't place but that's okay, the contest was great and there were some stunning creations! The theme was 'Magical Forest' - my thoughts instantly went to unicorns. Some of you may remember my unicorn ponies from years ago - I think I made three altogether - and those were always some of my favourite. So I figured I should revisit the theme!

Btw this is the pony I was asking about earlier, the one with pores. She seems to be okay so far and the wholes aren't too noticeable anymore. The bait used to be a Powder, I think - arrived to me without symbols or hair, terribly yellowed and full of ingrained dirt. Worst of all, her horn was completely missing. I gave her a new horn using Apoxie Sculpt, painted her in acrylics and rehaired in a few different shades of pink, purple and blue nylon.

It’s amazing how much detail you got into her symbols! The image really could be a standalone painting, it looks fantastic! Her color scheme is lovely too. She is amazing!
