For Sale - For Auction / Selling my G3's!
« on: May 21, 2018, 08:39:17 AM »
Hello! It's been a looooong time since I've visited the forums (2 or 3 years? omg)

I'm selling off my G3 collection. The auctions go live tonight, Monday 5/21 at 9pm EST and end this Saturday.

I've completely run out of storage space and I realized selling off parts of my collection make more sense than renting a storage locker (insert all of the LOLs here)

I'm selling them in lots - and I apologize in advance that I am unable to respond to any questions/mix-and-match ponies from different lots/combine shipping (they're already boxed and weighed, so what you pay for shipping is the *exact* cost). I've been very busy lately and know that I will probably wont have the time to respond to questions/offers/make deals/etc.

SO! What you see in each lot is what you will get. They are all "collection worthy" and, believe me, I'm pretty darn picky. Nothing less than very good condition. Worst flaws are moderately frizzy hair or a stray mark or two. Their hair is messy as they've been stored in cardboard boxes in my linen closet for a loooong time.

You will find the auctions here:

A long time ago, there was a post about these amazing "fakie" figurines.

Well!  I happen to have a few sets!  If you want all four, they can be yours for $20!

If you choose to debox, shipping within the US is free!

If you want them MIB, shilping will be the actual shipping cost.

PM me if interested!

I totally lucked out and found TWO Ari Roma dolls and TWO Tula Toned dolls at Walmart!

I already have these girls, but of course I bought them to sell and/or trade with you guys!

The boxes, however, are damaged.  They've been lingering in my local Walmart's stock room for a couple years!!

PM me if you're interested - I still need to add Anne Artic, Ina Ferna, CiCi Thru, Gail Lexi, Tilly Vison, Vera Tabray, and Mimi Merize to my collection...I doubt anyone has these ladies to trade, but if you do let me know!

I absolutely love the guy I bought them from.  He's the same guy that told me that the Inspirational Words G3's were valuable ;)

Pony Corral / TAF Baby Sugarberry: Safe to Sunfade?
« on: August 07, 2016, 02:15:30 PM »
I've had a lot of success sunfading.  Most recently I saved a white Valentine's Baby from ugly blue ink blotches.

I have a TAF Baby Sugarberry with pink highlighter.  Before I pop her in the window, has anyone had any bad results sunfading this particular pony?

Ah!  Nice.  This person is an Arena member: Mary82

Are you going to send her a thank-you card?  :good:

LoL, no...because it may completely freak her out.

While cleaning the ponies today, two of have Lisa's last name written on them!  Less than three minutes on the internet and I found her (not being creepy, just curious).

I know there are a ton of heads available for just a few dollars (I happen to have a couple Catwalk/MH hybrids  ^.^)

I was wondering, how much is an authentic Jet worth?  Nude.  No accessories.

They have 173 feedbacks- but it does seem like maybe they are not experienced with ebay.  Or maybe the employee in charge of getting back to me was just plain lazy.

I think the solution probably is just sending the price of the doll less the shipping for the hand. Provided they agree to that- it is a little unclear.

Not to sound rude, but it doesn't matter if they agree to anything.  The transaction was made through eBay, eBay ruled in your favor (because their employee handling this didn't do it right).  Basically the doll and your original payment are yours.  You are not obligated to do anything further.

They don't need to agree to anything because they have no interest in the doll or the transaction any longer.  They can't take the money or the doll back from you.

Sending them the cost of the doll, minus the $47, is the "right"( or kind or charitable ) thing to do since it was your intention all along.  Ebay doesn't do things that way...usually we're on the other end of these transactions

...and, truthfully, they can file a claim w/ DHL w/o the doll.  All they have to do is show that eBay ruled the case in your favor.  If they wanted to be dishonest, they could file the claim on top of you re-sending payment (but let's not think about that because it's insurance fraud and illegal).
