It's a Sparkler and Sunny Bunches hybrid! (Or the coloring is wonky, but then the diamonds should be white rather than green.) Weird but so cool! Can't wait to see!

Ok my parcel arrived this morning!!!!

I haven't even had a cup of coffee yet, I was so excited

She is not a custom and not a rehair either.  Her head is still securely fastened to her body. 

What I think kinda strange is that the kid who owned this pony clearly thought she was called 'Lucky'.  I wonder if her packaging had the name lucky on it or if she didn't have packaging so the kid just made that name up for her pony.

Its a shame about the pen, it looks like she has really nice blush underneath it all.. and no eyelashes??!  but I think shes still cute anyways! 

So come on you lovely experts!!  what/who is she?!!

wow cool, she looks awesome! Pity you don't get much sun over your ways cause I would say that black ink would fade down quite fast (it might turn pink thou but it would be less obvious).

If we are lucky enough to get another couple of weeks like we had recently you could sunfade her. I made some surprising progress with a pen-marked Sweet Clover.

She's incredible!! Definitely not something I've ever seen before. Definitely sun fade though! I've been doing that with one of my nirvanas recently, and with the weather we've just had, it's made excellent progress! Congrats!

I think she's a mistake! I mean she is a Sparkler, but they put Sunny Bunch's mane and tail in her as a mistake. Interesting!

This is an odd one for sure, I am tempted to say custom, but it is hard to say!

Hang on, isn't that SarahBees eBay account? Its the same location as  her and the seller clearly knows ponies (see their feedback) that's got to be a member here. If it is SarahBeee maybe we could ask her about mystery pony? :big grin:

She's defenitely not just a factory error Sparkler with the wrong hair, all her body colours are different from Sparklers.

She must be a prototype, surely? What else could she be?
Either way she is great, what a lucky find!

I would say she's a Prototype which never went into production.
They probably went in a different direction.

I'm thinking she's a prototype too.  I've been trying to find an ad or picture featuring her, but no luck yet.

Oh man that is sooo awesome! HUGE congrats! It's very interesting, she seems to have sunny bunch's hair color, as well as utilizing the paint colors from her saddle. It seems like the midlde pink portion isn't painted at all, is that correct? Because interesting enough we also see that with sunnybunch's flowers on her saddle. Instead of painting them they just let the plastic color show through. It's weird that she doesn't have eyelashes either, it look as though  they weren't rubbed off but she indeed never had them at all. That suggests an unfinished state which would definitley point to prototype 

Magic eraser might help a bit with the black, if not get rid of it entirely. I wonder though, maybe the name on her belly was written there by the makers, and the child saw it? Because it looks to be fairly neat print, distinct from all the other marks.
