My guess is that she's a fakie like the Mexican Big Brother ponies. With all of the Mexican ponies that have been sold on eBay in the last 8 years or so, I think we would have seen more flutters up for sale if they were an official release.

I would think the same, although there is the minor possibility of a small release. We have seen a lot of Mexicans though, and this is only the second one we've seen.

The body looks really thin, which is another thing that makes me wonder fakie.

I think it could be a fake made from a stolen mold though, I would like to find more info on this one.

I was wondering if anyone was going to post about her. I've been trying to decide...fakie or not...I don't know. I asked the seller for more pics and they only sent that pic again (gee helpful : S )

Hello, did i sent the same pic again? i thought i sent the one of the other sided look, if not here is again,
I saw the web site of Peppermint Truly that Pinkkitty sent to me, to decide if its real.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing.  It would just be strange for an officially licensed pony to have such a small release.  Plus her eyes look strange, her body shape is a little off, and of course there's no symbol (at least not on her rump).  So if I had to make a guess, I'd say fakie too, though I also wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be real.  And yeah, that hair color has been used on other real Mexi ponies.
Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

To me, her head does not look like the head of a fakie. She might be real

I would guess fakie, but I'm still a bit on the fence... the body looks funny, like it might be a mold off of a real pony? The lack of symbol is odd too and the eyes don't seem right, but the hair being similar to real Mexi's has me intrigued. If it is a fakie, I'd say a very collectible fakie! Very cool find.

I agree that if she's a fakie, it would be a more sought after one :) Not quite as popular as the big brother ones  from Mexico, but more so from the average :)

Thinking about it, the existence of the fakie big brothers from Mexico make me lean more towards fakie, as we already know they weren't averse  to borrowing other moulds.

I agree with this. Her eyes make me feel that she's a fakie, they just aren't right

HMMM i think its a 50 / 50 shot either way really. I agree with everything that has been said so far.
The only thing I don't think that has been mentioned is that the two versions of her that have turned up have been the same color scheme.
Usually if they are knockoffs they come in all different color schemes as seen with all the other fakie mexicans that have shown up.
So I am inclined to believe there might be a chance she is real especially with prince dawns color scheme. I guess we won't know for sure
until one turns up MOC

Anyone see the end of auction price. $131 I was pretty surprised it went that high. I wonder if anyone from here won?
