I somehow dont think shes yellowed..

starshine is yellowed on the outside, but on the inside she is clear white. polly is as yellow on the inside as on the outside..


what do you think? is it a variant or evenly faded on the out- and the inside?

as i promised, i will be selling her here in the arena (please make offers via PM). you can see all her flaws on the pictures. her body is not clear white, but also it is not on her inside! i popped her head off to check, she is yellow on the inside too. i own a german starshine which is yellowed - but on the inside she is clear white. so i do not think polly is yellowed, she also has a evenly creamy color, but judge by yourself:

Discolouration can easily be "throughout" the plastic rather than just on the surface of it...the supposed White Windy is "white" inside and out and that is pretty much just a degrade/fade/leech on the whole of the plastic inside and out rather than a variant [*allegedly* - just because I dont believe in her doesnt mean others dont sorry!]

Mmmm.... I find it a bit weird that if she is yellowed that she is also yellowed inside. Because yellowing goes faster on the outside then on the inside due light and outside conditions. So maybe she can be a bit yellowed inside, but in my opinion it should be a tone lighter.
Omg I hope she is a variant!

I think some Starshines (there are at least a couple of different plastics) yellow differently than other ponies. I would suspect she is yellowed a bit, but she may well not have been pure white to begin with.

I have an Argie Gingerbread I received from Cloud_Weaver who was also discoloured to dark cream on the inside as well as the outside. It definitely is possible, but they can also sunfade back to white pretty easily.
Like Lady Guinevere said, she could also not have been fully white (maybe a cream colour or something like you guessed?), but she does look like she's yellowed a bit over time.

She is sure pretty! On the note of White Windy, I actually had a white Windy with the Blue symbols who still was Lavender on the inside of her neck, I still have pics of it, and.. I just recently obtained a White Windy, who is a regular windy with purple Symbols, but she is white!

There is just no pattern to Windy is there? Lol...but I guess with the purple leaching at different paces in different ponies there probably is a nice range!

polly looked yellowed to me rather than a true yellow, it does not stop her from being pretty though

if you like her then it doesn't matter if she is a true variant or not.

as for white windy ~ i have one, she has the blue symbols and is mostly white inside, there is only a touch of lilac in her neck seam and under one hoof. i think she is like those white/cream bluebelles the colour has just leaked out.
