Colombian Blossom question
« on: April 11, 2013, 05:58:22 PM »
Just curious if my new yellow blossom is OOAK? I know there are a few yellow blossoms but I haven't seen any with the multicolored hair. And I checked Shellebelle's site as well and she didn't have her listed exactly as a variant... And is Colombian blossom in general less common? I think I see more bowties and blue belles than applejacks and blossoms. Thanks!

It's possible, as I believe most Colombians that I've seen are OOAK (or close) :awake: Hopefully someone else who has paid more attention to Colombians will drop in :)

Awesome! Thank you guys. I missed the Colombian wave a few years back so I was unsure how many Colombians of each variety appeared. I'm just thrilled that I found a friend in colombia to help me look for ponies.

yah = where has Shellebelle gone?  I know she was keeping tabs for awhile...

I have those colors (well blue/rainbow hair and yellow/rainbow hair) with bluebelle, and yah, I tend to agree I think I've seen more bluebelle than blossom and AJ's, but I know they are out there and just not posted about :-)

awesome you got a colombian "supplier" I mean, a pony-hunting friend ;-) you've had awesome luck so far!

Best of luck they unearth some more daddies! I would love to know there are more colombian daddy ponies in the world!

:) i think i have seen one with the rainbow hair before, but there have been so many different variations that i have lost track

i know she is not in the nirvana gallery (yet) and she is not listed on the nirvana gallery wish list, so she must have slipped my radar ;)

Thank you guys!

MCM - thanks! I love the color combo of your bluebelle. I've wondered too what happened to shellebelle - she has such a beautiful blossom collection! :)

PKW - the nirvana gallery and your list are always the first guides I use to check on pony variations :)  they're such great reference tools!! Great job maintaining them and thank you!

There's more than one girl of that kind.
A friend of mine has her too. :)

I've the same color combo but for bluebell (by the way, I think she isn't in the gallery either, do you want her pkw ?), I also believe blossom is less common than bluebell.

Congrats anyway, she's a cutie !!

Did I hear my name being called???

Si!  I is here!!!!

pinkroze, that is a beautiful color combo, one of my favorites.  The yellow/red/rainbow comes on lots of different Colombian ponies.

Peeking through my [url-http://s272.photobucket.com/user/clemsshelle/library/sales/Colombian%20sales]old Colombian sales album[/url] I believe I had at least three different ponies in that color scheme come through my hands.

If I remeber correctly the rainbow hair is most commonly found on cream, yellow, and blue bodies.  It is also on bright pink, and I believe only one known lavender Bowtie that had blue symbols (or maybe there were more, I forget now).

The Blossoms vs. the Bluebelles seem to come in waves, sometimes I would have loads of one, sometimes loads of the other.  The babies however, the stars are used on many different baby bodies, including pegasus, there are far fewer Baby Blossoms than Baby Bluebelles (or "Star babies").

Geez, I thought I had forgot most of this and here I am yammering on about a bunch of it!

edit:  Omg, and speaking of the lavender/rainbow Bowtie *points up* Ember1 has her in the siggy now.  How convenient!
