Pony Corral / Re: Australia - Reject Shop Takara Fakie

Love your Takara style unicorn.    I was at Walmart today in Canada and there is a unicorn available that while not the same is still very similar to a Takara style pony.

I hated her as a child.  I thought her symbols were dumb.  Fast food on a pony?
As an adult when I saw her years later I really liked her.  She is pretty unique with those symbols.   So I got one from someone here on the forum from Iceland.    So I refer to my Munchy as my Icelandic Pony.   If you don't know that breed, look them up. They're awesome and so is Munchy.

Pony Corral / Re: Liquid Fusion alternative in Canada?

Amazon Canada has Liquid Fusion.  The shipping can take awhile but still likely faster than waiting for stores to open.

Thanks so much.  I'm going to Disneyland for their After Dark 80's event as Elsa and wanted to make a My Little Nokk shirt for her.  I had created the art but forgot the font.

Pony Corral / MLP Fonts

Hi Folks
I've been through archives and the Internet looking for a classic  MLP font but keep coming across dead links.  I was needing to do up something with text like the rainbow logo of the 80s ponies. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?  Thanks

Pony Corral / Re: Is having an army of ponies selfish? let's discuss

Ultimately people are free to buy what they want and how many they want and I realize that.

I have a collection of Gusty's but it's all different versions of her and that kind of collection I totally think is cool.  I love seeing pics of those when people post them.

When the collection is of one model though it does irk me when it's a pony that is really hard to find, maybe it's a variant from a certain country, and the person has 15 or whatever of them.    I'm not going to hate on people or be mean to them over it but yes, it does bother me.
So many people are looking for, dreaming of the pony but the already hard to find pony is even harder because a large number of them are owned by one person.  (not directed at anyone.  I have a horrible memory and don't remember who has what or what armies I've even seen.  ha ha)

My mentality when I collect is that if I'm fortunate to be able to track down a rare pony for my collection, I'm happy and don't want another so others can have the joy I had at getting this pony as well.   Not everyone feels the same I know but that's just my way of doing things.

Hanazuki is a show I liked with good adventures and style that would fit in with MLP.    Rick and Morty or Parks and Rec are definitely not MLP-esque.

Overall I'm really happy that they chose MLP to include for an episode.  They could have picked so many other toys instead.

They didn't seem to focus as much on design details etc as some other episodes, things about prototypes etc.  I haven't seen the rest of season 3 yet though so maybe that's just how they're doing this season.  More entertainment factor than being informative.   The other seasons had a bit more documentary feel but with a bit of humour here and there.

A purple Pinwheel.  I would love a version that looks like the one in the commercial.

For things like rhinestones, sequins or similar things I have always used Gem-tac whether it's for ponies, costumes or other.

From everything I've read and been told there were only 1,000 Majesty ponies and they sold out.  Their booth was a bit hard to spot so that didn't help those trying to find her.  My friend walked past the booth at least three times before they realized where it was even though they knew the booth number.
