Perfume Puff with Tail Rust :s

Hi Everyone

I wondered has anyone ever removed a Perfume Puff Pony's tail and got in back in ok?  I have just received my lovely Daisy Sweet today and I knew she had tail rust but was adamant I wanted her The only thing is, I am not sure how to clean of the tail rust.  I know how to do it in a normal pony, but are the Perfume Puffs different and will I be able to get the tail back in lol?

I wrap the tail up tightly with glad wrap and then retail as a normal tail would.

Or if you haven't removed the tail yet, I find the easiest thing to do is to pull the tail up inside the body, just enough to clean around the washer, but so the ends of the tail are still out of the tail hole just enough to pull it back through once it's clean and dry.

Getting the hair wet will de-fluff it slightly but it will still go back to a puffy style - so you are fine to clean the rust in the normal way.

As for putting the tail back in - it depends if you are putting the washer back or adding a plastic washer. If you are saran wrap/cling film the tail so its easy to feed from the body out. If you are not adding the washer then a ribbon on the tail and pop from the outside in [you dont need to worry about the saran wrap] that way.
