I was a child during the G3 era, I only very recently became interested in the G1 toys. I am fond of looking into 80's to early 00's toy lines since I find them fascinating. What attracted me to MLP G1 was the variety in the toy-line (different poses, pony clothing, plushies etc)
Although I don't have any ponies of my own yet I am excited to start collecting and researching into them.
I love learning about unique facts behind a toy-line, so if theres a forum for that or you would like to share your pony trivia I would love to hear it!

Hello and welcome! Do you know about Nirvana ponies? They are G1s that were made in different countries and they can be very different from US and UK releases :)

I was aware of the variations but still not quite fully grasping the concept of why some don't count and others do (mail exclusives etc). If February Violet from the Australian flower pony line counts then she is my favourite so far, I love the teal hair with the pink body. I didn't know that there was a specific name coined for them, coming all the way back from the 2000's too thats really neat!
