I at least hope the tentacles on the pony have wire in them and can be bent and moved, which is why they are skinny. Knowing Hasbro though that probably won't be the case. That's a big price to ask for such small figures too.
Heck even the EqG doll looks somewhat interesting, even if you know that skirt will likely be made up of unhemmed strips of cloth and either super-gel or tied-to-the-cardboard-to-stay-up hair... and this is someone who has no interest in that line at all

Hasbro's decisions, #1, have stuffed it up again, not the show.
More locally I wonder what on earth the distributor is doing. We're not getting as much new stuff as we used to. Masquerade Mane 6 ponies that have been sitting around for around 8 months. Not really much of the licensed merch that the US has (I am really sore about none of the bigger Funko figurines being available here aside from imports). Visiting the pony aisle's becoming a bit of a waste of time.
There's quite a bit of EqG, sure, but at that price-point and quality I'm amazed people are biting (a dollyfriend shared a photo of a Twilight's hair - it's sparser than a fakie!!)

Two things I don't really quite get: 1. I just don't really see the dolls selling here?? Am I missing something? 2. I thought the original market for EqG was going to be older girls... but now they're apparently back down to 3-9, same ages the ponies cater for. wut??? I'm not really sure what to think on the other discussions being held. I think people forget that licensees like Funko etc also aren't necessarily freely available in every country. Though what I think of the local Hasbro distributor's practices are another kettle of fish

It's a step in the right direction, but I agree with others in this topic who have said the product itself focuses too much on 'realistic body proportions' as opposed to something that will really push a kid to think it's a fun toy (whether that be articulation or interesting fashions).

Yeah.. this may be second-hand info, but I heard that Headstart (the importer of Novi and Bratzillaz here) aren't going to do Novi in Australia anymore, hence the markdowns. This was from a company rep. Bites for me, we haven't gotten things like the fire and ice ones, the last new lot that came in were Tula Toned's wave

Yeah I'm pretty over it. There's barely any stock around here. The latest wave of singles that just came in are the Masquerade ones with Sunset Shimmer, but there's barely any on the shelves. There's the black/white/pink PP sets but they're just too much for the junk they come packaged with. Not to mention barely any TRU exclusives, none of the Funko figures that can be sparkly... there's just nothing I really want to buy. Shame.
