Steamer - pat pend/not pat pend queries and price check...

I have two Steamers, one is pat pend, one is non pat pend.

One is darker than the other, with the symbols being slightly different colours. Both are HK.

So, is one German? Are there any other differences? I also need a price check on them both please - both are in excellent condition with no scuffs or marks, one has a faint 'E' on the underside of a hoof, both have faded pink hair.

I think the one without the pat pending is German.

I don't think there is really much of a price difference between the versions

The non pad pend version is essentially a "later" version of Steamer...and yes he is referred to as the German version as this is where he showed up the majority of the time - however this is most likely because Euro got later batches of ponies than the US...

Any hoo....personally I dont think there is any difference in price as although there are differences between the two they are not overly cosmetic differences. But this is an example of where you will get a different price on the Arena than on ebay - if you list 2 on ebay one non pat pend and one with the pat pend I would say he ll sell for the same price. If you list them on here with a buying price you "may" get away with asking for 3 or 4$ more for the non pat pend version if someone is specifically on the look out for it....but mostly they seem to price pretty close to one another.
