Do You Upload Your Pony Photos to Flickr?

It may not be a big community at the moment but thats not to say it wont grow with time. Perhaps if you add your own input to it others will follow and there will eventually be even more people uploading and sharing?

I'm on Flickr; however, my pics are primarily G4.  My G1's live with my parents so they are not around to be photographed.

I joined knowing Flickr is a networking/photo-sharing site.  I honestly think it is fun to see my images "shared" and popping up in other places.  Sometimes they are credited sometimes they are not.  I don't mind either way.

I even found it entertaining to see my Sky Wishes sell for $35.00 on ebay.

I mostly post stuff at deviantart. There's less "quality" pics, but plenty of people and groups.

I upload pony pics on Deviant Art & sometimes Instagram. I'm not really worried about people stealing my work but that's mainly because my pictures aren't very imaginative or 'wow'

I guess my biggest concern about my photos is someone using it to misrepresent what they're selling or someone thinking my pictures showing up on a site means I support that site or that I'm someone else.  I don't like those ideas at all.

But I also want to show off my pictures so I just hope that doesn't happen very often or people ask me about the pictures here.  I try not to post the same pictures in different places on the internet for that reason.

I TRY to because if my house ever burns down- I will otherwise have a hard time explaining to the insurance company exactly what I had and what condition it was in.

Also- I sometimes forget what I have- so I try to keep current pictures of various collections so I don't double-collect something.

As sort of a side effect though-  I've collected and been collected by other people that take pictures of their dolls and toys.   Lots of people take artistic pics and I really enjoy seeing what they post. 


If you were worried about people taking your photos- you could always screen them to private so that only you can see them.
