I'll try to keep this short. Basically, I've been overweight/obese pretty much my entire life, and towards the end of 2019, I decided it's finally time to do something about it. Using a very fancy diet I call "eating the same stuff as always, but like, less of it", I've lost 30kg, 30% of my starting weight, and now officially have a normal BMI! Actually, turns out I underestimated my height a little bit, so I already crossed that threshold back in January. Whoops!

Anyway, I wanted to treat myself for the occasion, but like... not with food? So I decided to go to the toy store and make a good old-fashioned impulse purchase, free of any notion of matureness and money-saving and what have you. Although the pony aisle was disappointing. I mean, the new G4s (the ones that are just regular G4s with poses), are soo cute in person! ...But they only had the Mane 6. I was starting to think I'd have to settle for a pack of Pokemon cards or leave empty-handed, when I saw her. The meme, the legend, someone I thought existed only on Tumblr and in shady Taobao listings.

It's concerned pony! And with good reason to look so concerned, sitting all by herself in the misc. off-brand section by the exit, poor thing. Aw, you needn't worry anymore, concerned pony... But wait! That's not a proper name, is it? What should I name her? And sorry if this brag post comes off as a bit too braggy, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not proud of what I've accomplished. I'm making my first (G4) custom, and I'm going to make the hair out of oven-bake clay. The packaging says to bake at 110 C for 30 minutes - is it okay to bake the pony at that temperature, or will she melt? Sorry, I'd rather ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake 

Inspired by Crowning Glory's flimsy wing contest, I bought myself a rather sorry-looking Glow with no wings, and wanted to try making her some new ones. Can I just print a wing pattern onto a transparency sheet and cut it out, or will that not be solid enough? Also, has anyone made a template for original-looking wings, or do I have to draw them myself? I'd appreciate any tips

What an odd design... If this is what he looks like in the movie, I'll be very distressed.

For nearly two years now, I've had eight G1 ponies. Only eight, I'd say that's a good number, because there's more love for each pony when it isn't divided by much. Yes, I do so love my eight G1 ponies, and I always have them on display together.
Well, I absolutely love seven of them, and look at them all the time, fondly. But then there's Peachy. The other day, I wanted to take a G1 pony off the shelf - Not for any real reason, no specific one, I just wanted to hold and smell one. I grabbed Peachy, and it felt really strange. You know when you're dreaming, and you're digging through a toy box or browsing a thrift store, and there is a toy that you don't have or that doesn't even exist, and you hold it close and love it forever. Then you wake up, and you're kind of sad that you don't actually have it...
Well, I got that exact feeling when I looked at Peachy, the feeling of I have this pony now, but maybe I won't anymore when I wake up or maybe the feeling of visiting a friend and seeing their ponies that you don't have. The point is, I've had Peachy on display on a not-really-crowded shelf for nearly two years, and yet she feels so unfamiliar.
I dream about her, though. One time, I had a dream that I was cleaning my ponies, and Peachy had a really gross colour, sort of weirdly brown. I opened her up, and she was full of vomit  So I filled her with water and rinsed it out, and I did it again and again, but there was always more, almost as if the water itself was turning into vomit. I had a similar dream recently, but instead of vomit, it was tail rust. I don't usually have pony nightmares, but they're always about Peachy 
But why? There is really no reason for my Peachy to go unloved. In fact, she's just as lovely as everyone else. I can't blame her colours, because they're much the same as Cherries Jubilee, and I can't blame her pose, 'cause it's the same as Lemon Drop. I also can't blame her being the most common G1 pony (opinion provided by experts), because thrift stores around here don't have ponies, so my only way to find her is by seeking her out on the internet. I just don't get it...

TL;DR I don't love my Peachy enough and there's no reason for it, so I was hoping to start an appreciation thread. Tell me why Peachy is the best, alternatively tell me  why she's worst; surely everyone would have an opinion on the most common G1 pony. Just help me remember her

So here in Norway, we have a superstition that if a girl gathers seven different kinds of flowers and puts them under her pillow on the 23rd of June, she will dream about her future husband. No word on whether  this works for guys. So if you're single, you might want to try it out
Oh, and happy St. John's eve. Y'know, if your country celebrates that.

So I was combing my G4 Plumsweet, using no more force than usual... I noticed strands coming out a lot, but didn't think much of it. But when I tried to style her hair, even the tiniest bit of pulling caused it to snap! You know, like really damaged human hair, but somehow even worse. I picked up Rainbow Dash, who I've had the longest, but no amount of pulling harmed her. Snowcatcher, whose hair is sort of the same color, also didn't have that problem. So is Plumsweet the only pony with poor quality hair? Has anyone else had this happen?
