Title: eBay server down?

I've been trying to buy something for my dad on eBay for the last couple of hours, but when I go to pay (It's a Buy It Now listing) I get a page that says the server is down and will be back up soon. I've never seen this before. Is it happening to anyone else?

I tried looking at the eBay forums but I couldn't really navigate them :huh:

It finally went through at 7:20pm.

Weird. In all my years on eBay I never got that page before, and it was apparently down for several hours.

I dunno if it's connected, but when I went to Ebay they were advertising some voucher offer that ended at midnight. But that might have just been regional, not global.

Or everyone was trying to buy supplies...

They have been taking down a ton of listings of sanitizer, but can't do it quick enough to prevent all orders from being placed. I'd imagine the rush would put some struggle...
I did have a similar issue with YouTube yesterday but it worked just fine on my phone. Internet be weird.
