I don't want to start collecting MIB/MOCs for my collection since they take up a lot of room, and I am kind of OC about my collection- if I have one or two MOC ponies, it somehow disrupts my collection, lol. I prefer to have either all MIB or all loose, which is why my G1s and G2s are all loose and my G3s and G4s are all boxed.

But I DO eventually want to accomplish my dream of getting a MIB/MOC G1 pony and opening it, but I will only buy one that has really bad packaging so I won't feel guilty. Yellowed plastic bothers me, so I will open those (considering that the yellowed plastic is so ugly and you can't really see the pony anyway, there is no harm).

I would be interested in an Easter swap, but I am not in Australia... by the way, what is a "Kiwi"? (And I know we aren't talking about the fruits, lol)

I would be interested in seeing some better pictures, too. ^_^ Wonder what she is?

That is a very lucky find! Goodwill must like you, lol. I have never found ponies at Goodwill, even though there are 4 stores in my area that I have been visiting on a regular basis for years. Congrats!!

This was the first time that it ever happened to me... I was at my friend's mother's house last night and we were all making dinner together. After the food was ready, I emptied my purse to look for my cellphone and I took out my SS North Star who had journeyed throughout the day in my purse with me (figured she could use the time out to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine). I put North Star on the table with the rest of my junk, right when my friend's mom walks in.

She says, "Oooh, is that a pony?? It is, it's a My Little Pony! I love those things, they are soo cute, I always wanted one!" And she picked up North Star and started petting her.  It made me really excited and happy to see someone else who loved ponies (and pet them, too)! We started talking about them and how there are all different types, and that I have some drawers full of ponies back home, and how she never got any ponies, but how she thought they were really adorable.

The surprising thing is that she is old enough to have had children who were into MLPs (her son, my friend, was born in the late 80's). If she had had a baby girl, she probably would have had a pony-filled house. Instead, she had a boy who was into war history and the military, lol. She seemed to really like North Star so much that I kind of want to get her a so-soft pony just so she can carry her around and pet her whenever she wants. This weekend, we might go out to see a movie, so I might show her my pony collection in my room. I am very surprised and excited, I have never met anyone in real life who was interested in them before!

She is so cute!! I want a newborn Celestia!

I like to take them with me places, like the other day I went for a walk in the woods, and I took Skydancer and baby Bouncy with me for the ride in my purse. So fun! (And cute)
I also like to put them in some old Fischer Price playhouses I used to have as a kid and pretend they are living there. What I would really like to do is get a lot of play-houses, doll houses, and a lot of accessories to make a sort of village or something for all my ponies! That is my dream pony room. Then I can play with them... (such a kid, I know).
