Aussies! Where do you buy ponies online?

So I drew the winners for my blog giveaway, and one of the winners is from Australia. I'm based in the US, and I still want to give him a prize. I said the prizes would be a playful pony (one of the single packs), but I'm having issues finding somewhere to buy one.


I used the Hasbro.com.au page to use their "where to buy" links, and the only one that had results was BIG W, and there's no single packs, but vehicle play sets or Rarity's carousel boutique.


So, is anyone who's in Australia/ordered from Australia know where I can buy a pony online? It'd be so much cheaper then paying for a pony to get shipped on the opposite side of two hemispheres, but I'm not finding much out there on the interwebs.

Not much help but I could never find anywhere online that sold it here in Australia. I usually go into the stores like Big W, Kmart and Target and they sometimes have one or two even if it's not listed online.

Are you after a specific playful pony?

If I'm buying toys online from within the country, I find the only viable option is eBay. :/

There aren't really any online toy stores that deserve the name.

Australia has yet to catch up with the rest of the world on online shopping. What online stores there are for retailers here have very limited range. It's really best to just use eBay or buy in person.

I'm going to have to concur with the 'ebay' consensus.  I did also buy a pony from etsy but I'm pretty sure that seller was based in the US anyway .

If you need some help I can buy one from nz and send it for you, ironically postage from nz to oz is cheaper than posting parcels within australia... crazy I know!

This I know is true - Australia Post and their prices are simply RUDE! 

But as for toy shops online, they usually have a 'front' that welcomes visitors or a 'where to buy' from a physical store, but to actually shop online is pretty non-existent. Sorry, but ebay is usually our best online store!   

We rarely have the thrift store finds you guys in the US have too, where ponies are concerned - we really get the short end of the stick here!

actually that is something you should consider too.  Postage from the UK is actually cheaper than postage within Australia.  So if there is a UK store that ships internationally that may be the way to go.

Or even UK sellers on here or on ebay! Our ponies are a little cheaper than yours as well I believe...could be a win/win!

Shipping an ~11 oz package to the UK, AUS/NZ, Asia or Scandinavia is cheaper than shipping one from the east coast to the west coast in the US. Shipping is terrible..
I agree with trying to buy them from somewhere outside Australia. I shipped 4 or 5 ponies from the US to Australia a few weeks ago and it only costed me about $10.50 first class which shouldn't take more than a week and a half.

You could also skype with a store and prepay for a pony that you then put on hold for the person to pick up locally... not as nice as online shopping but Australia is pretty backwards lol
