Check out this video Charmer took while we were out the other day. There were some lovely horses there. It was lovely that they wanted to follow us everywhere.

i think the fields have a foot path going through them and i have never seen an body eg owners come to catch them but they must come to feed them in the morning as there was bits of carrot by the gate !  but as you can see they are very accepting and freindly even though they dont know me (i have seen them about 4 times not always close up )  any body that knows about horse body language can you tell me what they are thinking ?xaflamex

I think they're gypsy vanners.  Feathering isn't as much as you normally see, but given the fact they're basically loose in Wales, I'm giving that as my educated guess.  The size and colouring is right at the very least.

That was one of my first thoughts, too!    I was thrown off by the very patchy nature of the first horse in the vid and the grey one? Maybe I need to do some research    oooohhh... I just wanna wrap my arms around one!

your right they are gypsy cob/ vanners which ever you want to call them. there are a lot of coloured ones over here. mine is similar to the black one and my friend had a grey one.  we seem to get a lot of feather on them over here especially higher up you live. more protection against the cold I guess. best breed ever though

well i always want to put blankets on them as they seem to be out in all weathers they have trees to shelter under but when they loose the leaves they wont have any i think they are cobs but they are in hemel hemsted across the road from the railway station    xaflamex
