Wonderful ebay story <3

Ya know, this story would make a great song!  And now that he has a guitar, he should write it!

Oh man, you guys... it was epic!!

Didn't work out quiiiiite how it was planned, but it was great anyway. He called me out of the blue last night and said, "What did you do?!" LOL and I told him not to open it and to come get on cam with me. When he got on cam he was standing there with the box... and it was huuuuge. He said, "I don't know if I want to open it... it looks like there could be a guitar in there!" He was so excited.

I convinced him to open it though... and it was wrapped up super well so he had to cut through a bunch of thick bubble wrap and tape first of all. I didn't get a good look at the birthday message they wrote on it... I'm going to have him show me that up close later tonight when I get home.

So then he got down to the actual standard black zip up case. He sat down and said, "Alright, let's see what's inside here." I was joking with him and telling him it was just video games (he loves games haha) but he knew better. He unzipped it... opened the flap, dropped it... buried his face in his hands. "Oh my gosh... you've got to be kidding me... I was bidding against YOU?"

Then I told him the story of how things happened. He kept burying his face in his hands and saying, "Oh my gosh! I can't believe you did all of this for me." He took the guitar out and it was beauuuutiful. He loved the feel of it, I loved the look of it on him... everything! It needs tuning and a little work... but he doesn't care.

He kept saying, "This guitar... this guitar has a story to it now. A great story. That's perfect." AND! He named it. Guess what he named it guys? Since it's blue and I got it for him... he named it "Oceana," the name of my pony persona! He said that was the perfect name for it.

He's going to tune it today and get it in good working order... then when I get home tonight he's going to jam out for me. I can't wait!!!

That is so sweet he named his guitar for your ponysona. Your story makes me all happy inside I cried a little.

I don't think I would have been able to keep a straight face while he was opening it. He was probably expecting a different guitar, since it came so fast. His initial reaction was probably to pretend to be happy and then he was so happy about the actually guitar that he couldn't figure out how to react.
