Thanks so much for your opinions, everyone She has been high up on my wishlist for a long time and is for my own collection so I have no intention of selling her. I do think deflocked/NSS ponies look heaps better than the flocked ones, and it is especially evident in darker colored ponies like Twilight. More of the flocking actually came off when I tried to give her a little scrub, so I think it's pretty loose, at least a lot looser than the flocking on other vintage toys I have handled. In the end, I think I'll go ahead with it. Apologies to the naysayers, I really do value everyone's opinions and I will do my best to do her justice (and if it proves too hard, I have a good friend who is very good at pony restoration who could help me out).

So I got a really good offer on so-soft Twilight, and she arrived last night. I love her a ton, but she does look a lot scruffier than I expected. She is really yellow, has a lot of unflattering bald spots, and sheds quite a bit. I don't have a whole lot of experience with so-softs, so I would like to hear some opinions on her condition. About the ending... Spoiler Was Sunny's upgrade supposed to be permanent? I just kinda assumed it would be a temporary power-up. If it's permanent, I would have expected a lot more winged and horned Sunny toys. What will she look like in the show?

Should we make a new thread for reviewing the movie, or keep it to this thread?
My spoiler free review: I just watched it and thought it was a decent enough children's adventure movie. I just really wish they'd cut the ties to G4/G3 already and make it its own entirely new universe. I didn't hate it, the characters and songs were very cute, but it's not really My Little Pony to me personally.

My sibling sent me a message asking if I want anything for my birthday tomorrow. I asked if they could make a fanart of my favorite OCs. But then I started panicking and apologizing, for selfishly thrusting them into an art request out of nowhere... and they replied "Now, listen here, anxiety. It's your birthday, let yourself have a birthday."
Something about that wording is so reassuring, I don't even know how to explain it 
Heheh. I take it we share a lot of the same values, then. Hope you had a good birthday!

Her sister Baby Ruby was one of my childhood ponies, I'd love to complete the set someday... but it probably won't ever happen. Baby Sapphire is so lovely! I wish I had a pony in this pose.

Her colors go so well together! Not a high priority want, but if I somehow got her for a steal I'd keep her as an honorary member of my flutter Morning Glory army.
