All the goats I ever encountered just pooped where ever they felt like it. But its still a cool idea for a service animal if it works out.
Yes they can. It's just not easy. xD My aunt had a fainting goat(I forget what the breed's called, but they're super small and sooo cute<3), and she kept it indoors aside from the daily letting it into the yard to eat and such. I'm not sure what happened to it, but she doesn't have it anymore.
I raised goats myself up my grandmother's farm. Those little suckers have a LOT of energy when they're young. @_@ Luckily I was young too, so running around with ours wasn't a problem.
Good luck on getting a goat as a service animal - they're definitely very good companions. The goat I mentioned before used to cry excessively every time I had to go do other things - we ended up having to get her a friend so she wouldn't be so lonely.
