Car boot sale find and extra awesomeness *pics of new stuff added!*

Hello all

I went to a car boot sale today with my boyfriend and a friend. We go often but haven't found anything pony... until today.

At one stall I found a sweet little G4 envelope set for 30p. Couldn't say no for that price even though I don't collect G4

Next I came to a stall selling a bunch of well-loved toys. Most of them were boys things, action figures, cars and some fisher price stuff. But under all the things in a box I saw some tinsel-y blonde hair sticking out. I grabbed on and pulled out a G3 pony. No idea who she was at first so had to look her up when I got home and learnt she is Wing Song.

But that is not all. I saved the best for last!

I paid my £2 for Wind Song and asked the guy if he had any more pony things. He told me he had a bag full at home, ponies and three "castle things". But then he explained that they were different to the one I had just bought... the were his daughters own toys from the 80's! G1's!!! He gave me his phone number and I just called him. I'm going to go see them tomorrow evening!!! He says he has a "bonnet like thing", "the castle" and something else that he couldn't remember (probably lullabye nursery or the stable). He said two even had their original boxes. It would be £2 a pony and £25 per set but if I wanted the lot he would do a deal. I'm so excited!

Update: Meeting the guy in six hours time. He found the three playsets but could only find 10 ponies. Still really happy at that and can't wait!

phwoar, I think I had that dream a couple of times    Am I the only one who dreams about moving to an obscure country like Thailand or Colombia solely for the purpose of finding rare ponies?  no?

Would be lovely to get some unusual ponies but I'm just happy to be getting some G1s anyway

Nothing yet! He said he'd ring between 3 and four. He went to the beach today and took the ponies to take the to where we are meeting
