my car oddly still has a CD player even though it's a newer model. the last 2 leases did not. I haven't used it though. i don't have any CDs to play at the moment but i'm considering buy CDs again. not everything is available as records. i still have a ton of MP3s. so maybe burning CDs again too. i would like to have more non-streaming options while i'm driving.

I still buy physical media now and then. Just bought a dvd copy of Jetsons the Movie two weeks ago at Half Price Books and we have a tall bookshelf in our livingroom well stocked with dvds and blu rays and I have so many books on the three shelves in my art studio that I'm running out of room again lol

Pony Corral / Re: Is G4 a thing?

Don't believe the rumours. G4 is still a thing :) There are still conventions where you can buy G4 things either official or fanmade.
I collect them besides G1 to G3 but not all the merch like you would do with the older gens.

I know that it is still big, I am involved myself.  :)

But I mean here in the MLP Arena?  :P

I cleaned out my no-tech aquarium yesterday. It's in a huge green glass demijohn with plants and rocks. I see a lot of my plant stuff as art or craft but can understand if that doesn't make any sense!

Can we see please?

I've got 2 patches coming in the mail. This jacket is nearly finished! Just 2 more patches to go and with any luck, maybe I'll have it done in time for winter?

Sure! Love your patches and I love pink and teal together too. I just scanned my blog for some images, there are some flower arrangements here: https://florencemeade.com/2022/04/30/2021/ and here: https://florencemeade.com/2018/12/21/bauble-terrariums/ but I don't have a pic of the no-tech tank handy right now. Is that what you particularly wanted to see?

I love those! So pretty! Thank you for sharing. :lovey:

Cheers peeps xxx
BC I hope this new lot live & thrive xxx
Artie enjoy the baking!!!
Caysie oo boy!!! I hope you get that check-up done soon

Game deleted, along with everything to do wi it.
Got loot so transferred money to Paypal to fix the balance.
Went to coffee morning in the morning, it was good & saw some pals & got some yarn. Got a few quick messages from Co-op, put them away, went to Lidl town. Got the knitting needles & crochet hooks I needed in the yarn shop, then found a smart jacket AND some plates!!! Been scouring for both for ages, so good I found them now.
The cafe ran out of milkshakes, so I effectively told them how to make an affogato, then telling them to Google it.
I found yarn colours I don't yet have & a few other bits.
Lidl ran out of mini pizzas, but I got the other stuff I needed there. Then I hit the town's Co-op for a sandwich to have instead of a mini pizza. Bus home only minutes later.
Aside from the quick stuff I get in the local Co-op next week I have what I need, & not much else to spend loot on so will leave it for now.
Ate lightly at home, hence wanting the mini pizza & getting the sandwich.
There was evening music, coffee or juice, & cakes & biccies (also grapes & yep I had some too) on later, so I went to that. The music was quite good & some of the tunes were fun!!!
Today there's nothing on so Bakana's having a bath, then I'll do laundry & have a shower.

Off Topic / Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2024
« Last post by Caysie on Today at 05:44:24 AM »
Oh cool thread!

I'm from Sweden, but I'm quite happy that Sweden didn't have a chance. Of course the song was good, but now it was another country that was going to have the event, right?

What can I say about Switzerland? The flag is a plus anyway. The message of the song was good, but I don't know if it was that playable on the radio charts?
But they really deserved the win. Hope it will be a fun good event next year from them.

In last years Eurovision I thought Australia was great. Never heard of the progressive rock band Voyager before. Don't understand at all how they managed to get into Eurovision, partly because it's Australia and partly because their music was way above average for this type of music competition. Glad I found them anyway. The craziest thing of all was that they had a Toyota MR2 on stage. A bit car crazy as I am, I just had to put one in my garage too *lol* yes, music is an unfathomable source of inspiration, in every way.
