Argentina Hair Matching Color Questions?

Sorry to disturb the Nirvana board again with still more hair questions but this time I'm restoring.

I have some Argentina ponies who have been the victim of....well lots of things I think.
Some of which I KNOW includes fading from sun & also haircuts. Like this previous owner buzzed them down & also entire missing hair stripes & no tails. So I have been requested to help restore these nirvanas with some new hair to help them out. But, I can't get a good idea on what color the hair SHOULD be because of the fading & also missing-ness of the hair.

Does anyone who owns one of these ponies in normal shape know the G1 ordinary MLP match or DollyHair color name match?

A Gusty who is white with yellow leaves (Majesty pose) and has green hair
I believe it should be Scrumptious color

A Surprise who is white with blue balloons (Firefly's pose) and has green hair
I believe it should be Scrumptious color

A Glory with purple symbols who is pinkish salmon color (Majesty Pose)
I believe this should be Sugarberry red

A Ribbon that is BRIGHT orange but in Sundance pose and has/had... 3 stripes
Sugarberry red
Virgin Snow (normal) white
Mermaid blue (I doubt Atomic Turq...but...fading)

Is there anything to be noted about rehairing a Argentina pony?
EX. is the skin fragile? Is the tail thin or normal? I know the mane length is a little longer than normal, like foot-length or so, it's the same for all, right?

If anybody has any clues for matching help, whether it be from DH or somewhere else, these ladies who have seen better days will certainly appreciate it.

the Argie ponies are pretty robust, but do take care if the holes are close together. You don't want to unzip the plug holes!!

As with all nirvana ponies the hair is unique in colour and texture so you won't get a 100% match. I personally prefer to use original pony hair on the Argie ponies as new nylon can sometime jar a little.

The green I would recommend for Gusty and Surprise is Key Lime

The colour I would recommend for Ribbon are: Sugarberry, Virgin Snow and Water Nixi.

Don't blend the tails, leave stripes of colour for a more authentic look

This is fantastic! I can DEF see how that blue will be Water Nixi. I'm now hoping that none of this hair is sold out there. That 'leave it striped' tip is excellent too, I will certainly do that as well. That photo bucket is amazing. I had no idea there were that many Argentina variations. It's also a perfect guide for how long to make the hair be so that it looks original, since all of them are in such wonderful shape. It's bookmarked now for future reference. This is extremely helpful, thank you so much & I'll get started right away.
