Ooops, I had no idea she was a nirvana

Could someone please educate me in when a pony is a nirvana or not? I never seem to get it right..

I moved you to nirvana because she is a "no country" pony.

Although there are exceptions to the rule - a nice broad guide is if the pony is NOT HK/China made [or not a Taiwanese Fancy Pants] then he or she falls into the Nirvana forum There are exceptions when you will have HK/China ponies which are also Nirvana [those ponies made for a small selective country release or variants of regular ponies] but those are a greyer area

As for a price for NC Lemon Drop - $18ish I think is about her going rate at the moment.

I second Cat, if I was selling one I'd probably ask around $20. However she is so similar to the normal Lemon Drop that she's not immensely popular and can often be found on European ebay for a lot less. (I don't understand why, she has the most beautiful hair that appears to change color.)

OK, this is kind of weird. I was just cleaning my Lemon Drop and I noticed that under one of her hooves it looks almost like faded letters (the other says 82 Hasbro pat pend). If I look really close in bright light a think I can see a ng and a g, like for Hong Kong. But her colours are just like the second No Country Lemon Drop on My Little Wiki..

No that's perfectly possible. The original mould will have had Hong Kong on it but when the mould was being used in a different country to produce the pony, the manufacturer would have melted/obscured the "Hong Kong" on the mould so that it did not show. Hence why sometimes you can see a faint impression.

Its the same reason why some countries have their name in almost scratched hand writing showing - because it was not part of the original mould so was added by the manufacturer. There are quite a few Nirvana ponies who sometimes turn up with Hong Kong stamps visible on them Greeks can be a little notorious for it.

I agree she is a seriously underrated pony and has a beautiful shade of hair

The hoof marks are often badly covered up so you can still make out parts of the Hong Kong mark.

I agree on a price between $20-25 for her.
