Well, if they can track the leaked goods back to Taobao, maybe the can stop the leakage by posting more armed guards in the chinese sweatshops.

Going after Taobao is a-okay in my opinion. I wouldn't be too happy if someone was selling my stuff behind my back either. And at those prices I'd be really pissed.
On the other hand, it makes me wonder why the guy with the 3D printout ponies and the site that sounds suspiciously familiar to Hasbro hasn't been taken down yet as well.

Unlikely. Also I've seen a lot of bronies hoarding unopened ponies as an investment for the future. There might be enough left once the production ends to keep the value low.

Since march last year. I kind of started out as one of these bronie persons, though that is a thing of the past already.
Which generations of ponies do you collect? G1, G2, G3 or G4?
G4 only. I just don't have any emotional attachment to previous gens.I don't see them as the work of the devil either though.
What made you want to collect ponies?
It started with my desire to have a blindbag Rarity for my keychain. She (the character, not the toy) was insanely unpopular at the time, but I just had to have one. I went to Toys R Us and got myself a dozen blindbags. But couldn't get a Rarity from any of them. However, the recolors weren't too shabby and somehow some a terrible desire to collect kicked in and I had to have them all.I also got myself some of the "brushables" and last years Happy Meal toys, but I was able to keep it at main characters so far.Tell us about your collection!
