Title: Stephen King's It Book Question
Post by: Majesty on February 28, 2017, 03:50:50 PM
So, I was thinking about reading the original book.  I've seen the movie many times.  They're doing a remake but I don't think it's been announced for a release date and there isn't a trailer yet.

Anyway, has anyone read the book?  I was at Barnes and Noble earlier this month and they had one book that was about 1,000 pages.  They also had a regular sized book but it had the image of the new It clown on it and I want to read the original.  Is the original the 1,000 page one?  I was thinking on trying to get it for my kindle if I can.

I feel like the original is longer than 1000 pages.... *checks Amazon*  Yep, you're looking for the book that's 1168 pages in paperback format.  :)

I loooooooved this book as a young teen - I wore three copies out!

Thanks for the information and recommendation.  The kindle version is $9.99 so I have to wait until I can get another amazon gift card at some point to add more money to my account.

I read it as a teenager, and I'm currently re-reading it! Definitely one of his best books.

Well, I know it wasn't only 1,000 pages but I didn't know the exact amount so that's why I said about.  ;)  I could have done what you did and looked it up on amazon but I didn't feel like it.  I was only concerned with finding out if that was the right book.  :read:

Thanks to everyone else for the additional recommendations. :)
